AMAZING PACKAGE AT AMAZING RATE

First of all, the specs you may have been through, not a single flaw in the specs. True 200Hz refresh rate which is maximum in any of the existing TV models out there. The numbers Dynamic MCI 800 in LG or MotionFlow XR 800 in Sony is nothing but an index that the companies give from their side and these indices are not in Hz. Actual frequencies are normally 200Hz for index above 600 and 100Hz for indices above 400. nnRegarding 3D mode, Active 3D is conventional (1st generation 3d models had this technology) and is better ONLY if the frequency of the TV is maximum in terms of refresh rate as it uses the concept of flickering which may cause headaches in case the frequency of the TV is less. Passive 3D in terms of 3D quality is head to head with the Active 3D method and other aspects like comfort, price, weight of glasses are ruled by the Passive 3D over the Active 3D. Image is much more brighter in Passive 3D as compared to Active 3D and crosstalk is nil in case of Passive 3D. Overall I will say Passive 3D TV at home gives the best 3D experience. Its the best when the distance between viewer and the TV is in the range 10ft-12ft. LG provides 4 basic 3D glasses with purchase. Dual Play glasses are expensive and need to be purchased separately.nnComing to TV, the tv is a complete package of features you may dream to have present in the TV. From IPS panel to 3D Dual Play feature, everything is present. Image quality is super. I purchased it a week ago from an offline retailer at Rs.85000/- that too with 0% EMI. nnList of features include - n1) WebOS - A very interactive user interface. Believe me its very attractive and easyn2) All kinds of connectivity like 3 HDMI ports, 3 USB ports, LAN, WIFI, NFC, Intel WiDi,nSmart Link, AV, Component etc.n3) Magic Remote is just awesome. n4) If purchased from offline retailer, you get LG N2540 2.1 surround Sound Bar worth Rs.13990/- free and also a Flexi-Wall Mount worth Rs.7000/- free too, both of which are not included in any online purchase. I have verified this with LG INDIA customer support.n5) DUAL PLAY - This is a special feature where if two persons are playing a game, each person will be able to have a full screen view of his FIRST person view in his DUAL PLAY 3D glasses. At a time both players will be able to see their respective first person views on the screen that to full screen view and not a split screen view. n6) Internet browsing, youtube, skype. LG VC500 Camera is optional but you can even attach normal webcams to this TV.nnThese features are available in SONY (excluding Dual Play) with a lesser refresh rate of 100Hz and also the screen size is 50" and presently there is no 47" model in SONY with these specs. nnThe similar specs model in SONY may cost you around Rs.100000/- or more but this TV may be obtained at around Rs.85000/- if properly negotiated. "SONY QUALITY ALWAYS DOMINATES OTHER TV MODELS BUT THIS MODEL DEFINITELY COMPETES ALL SONY MODELS". Retailers may confuse you with similar models in LG having different look and model name for ex. LG47LB6700 instead of LG47LB750T but they have some features less or outdated. This is most updated specs model with every feature to the max. I am 100% satisfied with my decision to buy this product. Truly awesome TV with amazing real 3D experience and believe me I tested all brands 3D demo, and found LG to be the best 3D experience TV model. nnFlipkart is selling a bit expensive.nnRate me if found useful.

The MAGIC of HD with 3D!

This is an awesome, top of the line product from LG in its 42" and 47" category. nnFirstly, the basics:nIts is Razor-thin in design and hangs perfectly on the wall. It has 3 HDMI and 3 USb ports. The video quality is just brilliant with the blacks immensely deep and other colors saturated to the best levels. The best part is the Tru-Motion* which smoothen outs the videos in such a way that it makes fast moving objects and human interactions look absolutely real. For instance, watching sports with Tru-Motion enabled makes it seems like you are watching real humans through a window!! Adding to this, it also has an unbelievably sharp audio system with an inbuilt woofer which gives a good effect for an average sized room. As of 3D, LG's technology is legendary and world renowned, as it just requires cheap movie-theatre quality polarized glasses to experience its 3D making it Flicker free.nnThe experience:nThe TV's full display and audio prowess can be only unleashed with 1080p or blu-ray quality contents. I strongly recommend HD-DTH services coupled with this product, which will make TV viewing a mind blowing experience for everyone. Watching simple cableTV or 700Mb downloaded movies is purely an insult to this masterpiece. However, the inbuilt software is smart enough to play all sorts of video file extensions in your pen-drive as well as your Hard-Drive. It automatically deciphers 3D [SBS, TB etc] content and adjusts the screen accordingly.nnThe Addons:nThe smart remote provided with this TV is a futuristic gadget in its own and helps you use the remote like a mouse in a computer. The features like NFC, WiDi*, Miracast* are others addons which are a delight for gadget freaks as these technologies allow combining the power of your smart-mobilephone/laptop with your TV to make all the contents in your mobile phone reflect onto TV screen flawlessly. The TV is internet capable through WiFi and LAN, enabling internet browsing, video streaming and playing online games a reality.

One of the Best TV

I have bought this TV on this Diwali from different source and at much cheaper price (roughly 13k less). The reason being choosing the retail shop was cheaper price and plus LG offering free soundbar (est. 13k), flexi mount (est. 6-7k) as Diwali offer and it is not offered by Flipkart at time. Overall got 26k to 32k (not sure if flexi mount available with FK... didn't mention anywhere) benefit by buying it directly from LG Showroom. And that too on ZERO % EMI - same as Flipkart.nnWe choose 47 inch over 42 inch as HD picture looks good. If in your room distance between TV and sitting space is about 10-12 feet then must go for 47 inch. It will give you a real cinema feeling.nnWe checked all brands including Sony, LG, Samsung, MicroMax and Videocon.nnPros:n1. Nice colour contrast and better viewing angle than all other brand except Sony. But difference is hardly noticeable until you compare both Sony and LG side by side.n2. 3D is good and somehow we felt better on LG as compare to Sony.n3. Can play all file formats. Tested AVI, DAT, HSBS, MP4n4. Sound is good and even better upon connecting free LG Sound bar.n5. Flexi mount is good and helpful in rotating the TV when we sit at different angle. Not available with any other brand.n6. HDMI, Optical and USB port tested and works well.n7. Interface is nice.n8. Web is there. Youtube and other apps works well.nnCons:n1. Comes with magic remote instead of normal remote. So if you are buying it for your parents then they may need some training. Also typing with magic mouse is bit difficult. n2. WebOS. Though interface looks good and useful but processor is weak. It takes time to bring things into cache. Once menu/interface items are in cache then it is quick. Cache is cleared every time is you switch off tv via remote. Could be best if LG has used some powerful processor.n3. Tried connecting my HP laptop with win 8.1 and TV using Miracast and direct WIFI but wasn't successful. Both laptop and TV shows each other upon discovery but fail to connect at the end. Need to bit research on this further.nnOverall it is good TV and we liked it.

LG is very poor in customer service

I bought this TV last month. When installing the TV, it had black dot on screen corner. The LG executive took some photo snaps and asked me to see if its causing problem. A week later, I started seeing horizontal lines on LED screen and I registered complaint with LG to repair or replace the TV. Its been 1 month and there's no response at all from LG. The price of the TV is 66000 and I am in a pathetic situation now regretting why I chose LG.
