LG 49LF540A 49 inch (124 cm) LED Full HD TV

I am using this product from last 3 weeks and it is working awesome. run sony's colour test on this TV and it is matching the quality of very high end sony TV colours.nnIt is not that cheaper though, however, cost of this product is kept very reasonable considering size of TV & LG brand.nnWhat is to be mentioned here the Flipkart service & installation help. It is top of the class. 8 hour delivery & within 2 hour installation, i was mesmerized.nnIMPORTANT POINT: If you are planning to buy tv from snapdeal or amazon, PLEASE DON'T DO THAT. You might find TVs bit (1% at most) cheaper there, however, Both of these e-commerce players don't have inhouse installation team like flipkart (jeeves). They will call LG people for installation & it will cost you atleast INR 4000, which is completely free in case of flipkart.nnnHappy shopping & Thanks flipkart!

I purchased this coinciding with the 15th August sale giving me a whooping discount of around 12k Rs. nnDelivery was as usual amazing; precise timings plus or minus 2 hours. This is more than what you can expect even if the delivery is from a local retailer. What more, the delivery was made on a Sunday - didn't have to waste a weekday waiting for the delivery to happen. nnFlipkart had mentioned that the installation would be carried out on Tuesday. Since I was impatient I did the installation myself. Quite simple installation if you are looking to place the TV on a table top. Remember the TV is quite large (around 4') so you need a rather large table top. To be fair to Flipkart, the technician called me promptly on Monday morning and came in around 2 pm to check if the installation was carried out correctly. He also offered to mount it on the wall but I declined the offer. nnGetting to the TV's working, the ease of installation and the ease of operation deserves a 5 star. nnThe quality of the picture again deserves a 5 star. nnThe audio is slightly deficient. The presets are not anything to write home about. But even at low volume the audio is crisp and clear. However, if you want to have a home theater effect, it will make sense to invest a bit on independent audio system. To me, this is more than sufficient. I would give a 3.5 star on the audio front. nnThe HDMI and AV connection slots are all bang on the rear side. If you mount it on the wall, then make sure you get a bigger bracket to place the TV at least 8" away from the wall. I think the standard bracket will leave a gap of less than 6" gap which means the reach to the HDMI and AV slots will be very difficult. Be prepared to spend a bit more on that. (I don't know what the cost will be since I didn't go for this). This deserves a two star if not lower. No thought has gone into this at all. nnEase of custom settings: If you are not a power user then go with one of the many presets. This should work quite fine for you. I did dab around with the settings but found that the presets gave pretty good quality. Unless you are with some out of the ordinary video that needs advanced settings, you would probably not use the video settings at all. I would easily give a 5 star on this. nnAll in all at the price that I bought it for, it is a complete VFM. At the current price of 61k you may get a lot more choices.
