--------------------------nOk, a small update to my review. Flipkart customer service called back and now they are saying that Jelly Case isn’t available with them. First of all, why in the world would you promise that you will provide Jelly Case and later say that it isn’t available? And, the worst part is that they are trying to calm me down by giving 400 Rs coupon or something, which I can use to purchase any item from WSRetail or WS Seller. Sure, I will use their offer. But, the very reason I purchased this mobile was because of jelly case availability. You know, it is very hard to find LG accessories and now I cannot use my mobile freely because of the fear that it might get some scratches or bumps or something.nnSo, thank you to Flipkart’s very own WSretail for false promises. If anything, they should learn from other sellers like “Zoomincamerastore”. I had ordered Canon PowerShot SX 150 IS digital camera from them, they not only provided what they had promised. They went the extra step by providing me battery charger + Rechargeable cells along with it.n----------------------------------nnFirst, I will list out the cons:nn1. Like the first reviewer said, Flipkart didn't include Jelly Case as they promised. I have called customer support and they have said that they will send the case within 9 business days. I normally wouldn't have cared for it, but I searched every shop in my locality and none have them. So, it becomes all the more imperative that they do it.nn2. Now coming to the product. The biggest con of this mobile is the screen PPI which is around 152. This doesn't cause much issue during normal usage, but is blatantly visible while playing games like Subway Surfers. You will also experience issues related to it while using browser like Opera Mini also, where the font is a bit too small. You can change the Opera settings to increase font size, but it makes everything too big.nn3. There is no separate loud speaker on the phone i.e. there is no speaker which is usually located at the back of the phone. Hence, the volume isn't loud enough. As the earpiece does both the functions, there is a question of durability in the long run. I know LG were cutting corners, but they seriously didn't have to be so cheap.nn4. There is no front facing camera on this phone, but frankly I don't care. But, if you are into video chatting and stuff, you might want to steer away from this phone.nn5. Like other reviewers have said it, the camera is sub par. The blurriness and pixelations are apparent in the images you have taken. The camera is also laggy. Haven't tried capturing videos with it, so I cannot comment on it's video capability.nn6. If you plan browsing web using Chrome, Firefox or any other full-fledged browser, you will undoubtedly experience lag on most medium to heavy sites. But at this price range, I guess you couldn't ask for more.nnNow, coming to the pros:nn1. Very simple and functional UI from LG. Nothing over the top, runs butter smooth and there are some nice touches added by LG (I especially like the way SMSs pop-up from the notification area). Also, most day-to-day to apps or widgets have been preloaded. I particularly liked the torch widget.nn2. User available internal memory is about 1.8 GB, but it is not an issue as most apps can be moved to SD card. I will just brief out the steps for the uninitiated. Go to "Settings" -> "Apps". All your apps will be listed here. Select the relevant app, then select "Move to SD".nn3. USB Tethering also works perfectly fine. All you need to do is download LG USB Driver. For that, you just search "LG Optimus L4 II Dual USB driver" on Google and download it from the very first site.nn4. Most of the games I have tried worked perfectly smooth, the only hindrance is the PPI issue I mentioned in the cons.nn5. You can say, for every con there is a pro. As the phone is running at 320 by 480 resolution, there isn't much load on the battery or resources. Hence, you can easily expect a day of heavy usage on full charge. Also, the battery recharges very quickly which is a good thing.nnOverall, I will give the product 4 stars (Not considering Flipkart delivery issue). I Hope you find the above information helpful in making your purchase decision.nnww_stan signing out....
I've been using this phone for the past 3 months and it's working perfectly fine. I play lot of games, use 3G, listen to music, and so far no hang ups. This is a really good phone for someone who wants quality at a reasonable price. I love the screen size, it's just right. Battery life is good. It's important that you charge your phone 100% to extend battery life. Leave it charging for at least 10-20 more minutes after it says that it has been fully charged.nnAs is with any phones, it has a couple of drawbacks. One is that you cannot move games/apps to your external device, this is quite frustrating. Secondly, there is no back light and sometimes you struggle to see the screen in sunlight. Otherwise this is a really good phone.nnLastly, kudos to flipkart as usual. Delivery was very quick and the package was well sealed and undamaged.
