IF this is your first smartphone, you will be very much impressed with it... what get from this phone is just more than what you can expect for 8.5k. But some drawbacks of this phone are going to make to a bit disappointed in the long run.. . the processor is slow, could have been 1GHz . there is no GPU, you will have problems if you load multiple apps. you have to close unnecessary apps to keep the phone smooth. . the default home screen wallpaper is not easy to change. . the color of the screen is limited.. . camera is good but no focus of face detection. . no OS Upgrade possible. . the phone is very heavy. . 512 MB internal memory is disappointing. android reserves most of it.. you get about 100MB to play with. But there are many strong points... . the audio quality of the phone is great. though you need a good headphone to understand that. . you wont find a phone with a hardware, supporting SRS in this budget. . GPS is not bad, and does detect quite fast if you are static. . the screen is huge. give a good feeling to use it. . good application support. . capacitive touch is satisfyingly sensitive. . Bluetooth is very fast. . call quality is very good. they didn't market this, but seems like, the phone suppresses background noise and amplifies your voice a bit.. so the speech is very clear. . battery backup is impressive compared to other touch phones. . there are rumors that Micromax hardware is not good. but if you use this, you will notice that the hardware performs very fast in this device. the WIFI, gprs, 3g gps bluetooth etc work very quick and feel vet comfortable. of course don't compare with HTC. there are may good points to attract you to this phone, but if you had a smartphone before that is of HTC,NOKIA etc, you might not be happy with this phone. But if you are new to this type of phones, its AWESOME...
This device has 2 main advantages over Micromax A56: Camera (5MP, A56 has 3MP)and Battery (2500mAh, A56 has 1400mAh)... for these it becomes twice "heavier" & 2500 Rs. costlier than A56. Just don't waste money for this crap.
