Micromax A88 Canvas Music

All in one phone...nI bought this phone at stores 1 week before its has the features similar to canvas A115 3D, but instead of 3D feature this phone comes with a powerful JBL headphone which is worth Rs 2199 in flipkart and this phone 1.5K less than A115..nnPros:n1. Powerful JBL headphone(Which is not mentioned but packed with the phone..)n2. 1 Ghz dual core processor.n3. 4.5 inch screen with 854x400pixels(240ppi) and 16M color displayn4. 5 Mp cam with AF, 720p HD rec, Dual LED flash and 0.3mp sec cam.n6. 4 GB internal mem out of which 1.97 GB available for user and 503 MB for apps.n7. Android v4.1.1 (Jelly Bean)n8. Its also got Proximity Sensor, Gravity Sensor and a notification LED.n9. 1800 mAh battery which will provide a decent backup.n10. Good looking and nice build quality.nnCons:n1. Only 503 MB is available for apps..n2. There is no addition feature available for music expect the headphone.n3. Only 110-100 MB RAM available rest is used by some process running in background(if the phone is restarted then 240 MB RAM is available).n4. NO screen guard or cover is provided in the box...n5. Camera is good, but indoor images are not good even with the flash..n6. There is no light sensor.nnConclusion:nIf you need a good music phone with good looking and nice features blindly go for it..

When i placed an order for this product i was very excited and waiting for it eagerly.I told all my friends I'm getting such a great offer n great phone in this price.But when i received it,I was shocked,the screen display was half white and half of it was blurry.. I immediately took it to a nearby authorized service center of Micromax who claimed it a hardware issue and in order to repair it,they will take minimum of two months of time, but since it was brand new they stuck a label saying its DEAD ON ARRIVAL and also told me its a refurbished product.Now i lost faith in the product and i want my money back from Flipkart.But its really disappointing to see how Micromax is cheating people,It has gained its name in Indian Market because of its low price,but the quality of motherboard,capacitors etc they use inside is of very cheap qualitynOne note to the buyers: Please think twice before u spend your hard-earned money on a product like this. In the service center there were so many Micromax customers with phones which were hardly 1-4 months old and all had issues related to display,touch,sound,camera..all of them were told that the spare parts are not available from the manufacturer,so it will take 2-3 months time to repair them.So think before u buy.nOne note to Flipkart: Please dont use retailers like WS retail.They had sent me a refurbished/repaired product.Even the service center told me its a refurbished product. Dont use such retailers who are using your name and selling bad stuffs to customers,in this way even u will loose your reputation.nI will never buy a micromax product again.seriously frustrated.
