Micromax Canvas Tab P701 Plus is an affordable price tablet that is basically designed for students. Since it offers a large screen, it is good for reading books and for other day to day tasks. If you are ready to compromises with the low screen resolution, it would be the perfect choice in this price segment.

The Micromax Canvas Tab P701 Plus features a 7.0- inch 17.78 cm) LCD display which offers decent viewing with a resolution of 600 x1,024 pixels. The tablet is powered by a quad-core processor that comes with the clock speed of 1GHz and is coupled with 2GB RAM. You get faster flash memory and massive RAM for carrying out various processes at a time without any lag. It runs on the Android v5.1 (Lollipop) OS out of the box.

Storage and Camera

The Micromax Canvas Tab P701 Plus features a 5MP primary camera  and 2MP front facing camera for video calling. It comes with an onboard storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

Battery and Connectivity

The Micromax Canvas Tab P701 Plus is backed by a 3,500mAh battery. For connectivity and networking, it features Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB 2.0 etc. For calling, one can insert SIM card into the given slot that can work on 4G, 3G and GSM networks.
