I wanted to support an Indian company which was presumably targeting the long neglected "Senior Citizens" market and hence ordered this phone sight unseen. Now i already knew that there were both free/paid apps to enable any standard Android phone to be used by senior folks but i had expected that a OEM company would have comprehensively customized their Android ROM image with more accessibility features for senior folks; but that is not the case here. Thus it is a case of "False Advertising". They have merely licensed the "Big Launcher" app and bundled it with their distribution. You can get the same effect at a lesser price by buying any equivalent Android phone and installing the app yourself. Hence this is somewhat of a let down given its price point. Another major issue is that the phone doesn't seem to have all the sensors found in smartphones nowadays. I tried various apps but all of them could only detect the accelerometer (i.e. G-sensor). A little bit more investigation is called for as regards the actual hardware specs of the phone. nOn the plus side, the phone is sleek and light with a good display and response times. But this is a given nowadays unless you use a really underpowered processor :-)
The most simple Interface with latest technology and power however its interface is a bit kidzzy but senior people sometime are not able to use the new techs and gadgets . So this can be a good surprise to them with its simple interface and latest android 4.4 kitkat and easy to read fonts at such a low price i will give it a thumbs up .nnIt is good way to help learn seniors the new technology and once the person is habitat . Then can also buy and use the simple normal android device.
