The latest iteration of the Moto G rocks our boat and comes across as a practical choiceAug 12 2015 By Deepak Dhingra
The Moto G 3rd-gen variant with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage is priced at Rs 12,999, while the other variant with half the RAM and half the storage is priced just Rs 1,000 cheaper at Rs 11,999… so picking the pricier model over the other one is really a no-brainer. In fact, we wonder why Motorola even bothered with the 1GB 8GB model at all. Our verdict therefore, is just centred around the model with 2GB RAM.. the one we’ve reviewed here. By now, you must’ve figured out where t
Hats Off To to Flipkart for delivery within 2 days.. It has IPX7 rating which is water - resistant as well first at this price point.. Even though the phone is water resistant it has cap-less USB port. Motorola said it can be under 3 metr and for 30 mins.. Back has a very interesting texture..And it looks great.. Charger Process two outputs Which I really found useful.. No Notification Led But it is not required as it has active notifications.. 5.1.1 Lollipop Its a heavenly Add-on.. UI is very responsive.. A stock Android experience would blow up ur mind.. The view angles are pretty wide but I do find some brightness shifting when u tilt the display.. In case of Color.. Only fault i found is the White color looks a bit dull.. Now coming to camera, focusing take a bit longer that I might would like.. Interesting ways to open up Camera & Flash light.. anyone would love those.. Manual Exposure And SO MO is Heavenly add-on in the camera app..Front camera is Decent but the rear camera take Very good Images..Color reproduction does seem alright.. Great additions by Motorola such as Moto Assist Moto Display and Moto Action.. Web Browsing Is very smooth so does Pinch to zoom.. Animations are working properly.. Wrapping Up by saying It looks great, it performs well and comming to the specs even it is very comparative plus Water Resistant.. U really cant ask more at this price segment..I will check it cout in greater detail And update it time by time.. ================================================================ Update - Good Gameplay! Performance is very good in this device, No matter which game I threw at it, this phone perform rather well.. Moreover display does perform well with good tough response, the speakerphone is decently loud & the best part is Moto G3 doesnt heat up with extended Gaming.. ================================================================ Update - In Outdoor lighting Moto G3 performs better but in terms of lowlight & colour reproduction it is poor.. Except these two Moto G3 have an edge in all department! ================================================================ Update - This Is the Final Update For The Beast.. Pros: Great Build Quality Excellent Performance Grat Battery-Life Good Cameras IPx& Water Resistance 4G LTE USB OTG Apps Moveable Cons: Display Could have Been Better Everything Works Top Notch.. Thanks for your patience for reading the entire review, and if you liked it, would request you to kindly mark it as helpful, so that this post stay on top and could help potential buyers to have some idea about the gadget.
This phone has very beautiful look specially the back (white). The screen is very smooth and comfortable for operation.nnMoto G3 (8GB with 1GB ROM)nSome good features are:n1. Best and latest Lollipop Versionn2. Very very user friendly and easy to usen3. Flawless in operation, no delay in switching apps or multitaskingn4. Both the cameras are very very good in light condition, and good in darkn5. Sensors work very smoothly (no glitches)n6. No need to fear to use in rainn7. Flash light is from iphonen8. Sound quality is also superbn9. Better from Moto G 2 in every aspectsn10. Connectivity is also superbn11. Many games are running smoothly because of separate graphicsn12. This phone has quality to challenge every 20K range smartphonesn13. Battery will survive for low and medium usersnnSome less good features:n1. If you are heavy user, you gonna need power bankn2. Don't expect high end games to run smoothly (Moto G3 with 2GB will solve the problem)n3. The phone heats up but very less compared to Moto G2 and other smartphonesn4. Accessories are poor specially the headphonesn5. If you are fond of listening music in earphones, you have to buy them (I would recommend "Sennheiser CX275s" in 2K range)n6. No File explorern7. Gallery doesn't scan all folders for imagesnnOverall the phone is very very good. It has all the features of a 20K range phone still its price is only Rs. 11999 (reason for low price is not poor quality but no intermediaries between the company and customer to sell or promote the sale of the phone). I promise, you gonna love it once you take Moto G3 White in your hands.
