The MSI PE60 7RD comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) anti-glare display and runs on DOS operating system. Under the hood, there is a 2.8GHz Intel core i7-7700HQ processor coupled by 16GB of DDR4 RAM seated upon Intel HM170 Express chipset. In order to enjoy flawless performance, the user can increase the RAM capacity up to 32GB. The laptop weighs 2.3Kg, measures 342 x 245 x 27mm and is available in a silver coloured body.
Battery, Input Devices and Connectivity
Acting as an energy booster is a 6 cell li-ion battery which claims to render a backup of up to four hours. A multi-gesture touchpad and a chiclet backlit keyboard are the input devices which are quick responsive. The user can maintain backup copies using the DVD writer. On the networking front, the laptop offers a wide range of options such as a Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, two USB 3.0 slots, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port.
Storage, Camera and Sound
The user can save a lot of data in a 1TB SATA hard disk which performs tasks at a speed of 7,200 revolutions per minute. For video calling and recording purposes, the MSI PE60 7RD features a webcam above the bezel which can record Full HD 1,080 pixels. The inbuilt dual microphone captures pretty good sound wave. The four speakers featuring Dynaudio technology outputs great audio quality.
