Nice camera but has it sides of flaws

The camera is good enough for carrying around. The 10.2 Mp factor is still gives a tight space to crop still the overall ability of the camera is good as compared to bulky dslr. If you compare this camera with Nikon D3100 and Canon 1100D ,the image quality and performance is much better. Due to 2.7 Crop ratio factor, the aperture wouldn't be able to go beyond f/16 still it is more than enough for shooting landscapes. The video shooting capability is way beyond and only few know. That this camera is mostly used for video shooting purpose thanks to its phase detection. For price around 21k it is a good camera. The lens are few yet u can use FT-1 adapter for use of additional Nikon Lens.

go for Sony istead

really guys if you are not buying a bulky dslr than go for Sony's in mirrorless instead. sony's innovation in mirrorless is light years ahead than any other brand you can also consider Olympus but that only applies for super high end range...nnand for this one i really don't see a point of purchasing a mirrorless with just a 10 MP sensor. but yeah i havent actually used this one. so i just cannot complain bout it.

Small, capable, take everywhere interchangeable lens camera.

Image sensor much larger than compacts or best of mobile, thus picture quality is excellent even in low light (not dark). Big advantage is size of the lenses. SONY mirrorless bodies are similar in size with larger sensor but then lenses are big, making the camera large. This on the other hand has much smaller but capable lens which helps to carry it almost everywhere. Specially with 10mm 2.8 lens it is almost pockatable (larger pocket not jeans). Compared to DSLR, this focuses very close, deleting the need for carrying a macro lens (almost). Auto-focus is very fast with ~135 point mixture of phase detection and contrast sensor points. Kit lens performed better than my Nikon 18-55. VR works. All manual setting and control possible (have to use the menu). LCD screen is sharp enough that you won't feel the lack of a even higher resolution screen. Price is right. Lenses can be changed if necessary. Only negative is depth of field is very high compared to DSLR so almost everything is sharp and in focus. This model discontinued so now you can buy the J5 which has similar price but include many improvements.
