There are many pros and cons pertaining to this phone , I'd go with the nnCONS first:n-First of all, kudos to flipkart for delivering the product so fast but you disappointed me because never once in the specifications chart did you mention that The Phone Doesn't Have A USB port. Really disappointed. n-When it comes to the Dual SIM interface, Nokia still hasnt been able to develop the technology where it can keep one sim active when a call is made(or recieved) from another sim (like Samsung dual sim phones).n-The worst part is that it's looks degenerated with time as the rubber coated side panel acted like a dirt-and-stain magnet and the sides of my phone are now blackish orange(quite different from what it was looking like when i bought, i wasnt able to clean it with any cleaning agent, it kind of absorbs the dirt, i think). n-No equalizer with the music player and n-It is not capable of streaming videos from youtube or any other site.n-Nokia has discarded voice command n-The headset provided by nokia doesnt have an answer button .nnTHE PROS ARE QUITE ENCOURAGING THOUGH: n-The battery backup is overwhelming, its outstanding.n-Lovely design, looks costlier than it is, n-INTERNET speed is better than many other phones on the same network, n-32GB expandable memory, n-40 EA games free to download(where each would have costed 75 bucks).n-Apart from Bluetooth 2.1 Its got Nokia Slam for bluetooth transfers (which is pretty amazing and works with any other phone), n-Inspite of having a 0.3MP VGA cam, picture quality is sharp and impressive in daylight and bright light, isnt so good in low light but come on, look at the price tag.n-The screen is adequately bright. n-The phone feels very light.n-It can manage several email acounts with its email app, n-Factory fitted chat, world clock, scientific calculator, nokia express browser, etc. and One Touch Facebook apps are pretty good as well. n-I loved its picture manager where you can even edit photos to some extent, n-Music player is improved and n-Songs can be recorded from the radio. n-QWERTY keypad is quite ergonomic. n-Its quite cheap. nIt isnt quite what I expected but it aint that bad. Best of luck guys.
I like this fone.n1. Its has all the features.... i mean basic ones...not SMART FONE FEATURES..n2. Camera is indeed not good. I bought it cuz camera wasnt my concern.n3. I didnt want touch screen/slide/flap things. So QWERTY was my last option.n4. wanted a dual sim phone, and here it is.n5. i wanted nokia. cuz my first phone was nokia. (and trust me, if u use nokia, u cant like anything else.)n6. if you r waiting and saving money for an iphone or BBM, go for it.. cuz its cheaper n gud fr the meantime..!nnwat I dint like is:nonly n only one thing wich disappointed me was its cyan part. nn**I HAVE NO PROBLEM WID THE COLOUR, BUT I HAVE PROBLEM WITH ITS RUBBER+PLASTIC THING.**nni mean that gives an artificial and anti-nokia look to the phone.. :)nnFlipkart was lil late this tym in delivery.. it took almost 7days... :(
At this price tag, Asha 205 with qwerty keypad and 320*240 resolution screen is very affordable phone. With s40 OS, nokia asha 205 supports all java s40 games and applications. S40 is java based OS so, phone does not support symbain application or games. Here are some Pros and Cons.nnPros.nFully customizable home screen as well as dedicated message button.nPer installed facebook, ebuddy and Nokia Nearby apps.nGood screen resolution.nQWERTY keypad.nSIM manager.n40 EA free games.nGood internet browser and very good internet experience.nEmail support.nNokia Slam.nnCons.nBad camera.nVery low RAM, Application crash down sometimes because of low memory.nDoes not support multi tasking.nDeactivates another SIM while working with one SIM.nDoes not support micro USB.nnDespite of some Cons, phone basically very good and snappy. I recommend this phone for those who want dual SIM and good internet experience at this price tag.
been using asha 205 for a month or so, its a very good phone with very basic features.nnWhat I liked:n1. Dual sim, freedom from carrying two mobiles.n2. Excellent qwerty keypad, typing is just a piece of cake, believe me at Rs 3k you can't get a better keypad than this.n3. Operating system is very fast, unless u crowd the phone memory up with bulky apps & themes (keep them in memory card, supports up to 32GB)n4. Excellent battery back-up (min 2 days, even with the dual sim active + 1-2 hrs of music & internet + 20-30 mins of call/day & 15-20 msg/day)n5. Pretty good music quality with aftermarket headphonesn6. Net browsing is also pretty fast if u use Opera mini. inbuilt mail application is very good for managing ur emails.n7. Looks likes a 10k phone. :)nnWhat I didn't:n1. Pathetic VGA camera (but who cares, use ur digicam)n2. Age Old Symbian 40 OS, so no maps & whatsappn3. No provision for usb connection, so no sync with ur pcn4. No 3Gn5. Sound output of the speaker is very low so when you are using it outside, switching on the vibration alert is mandatory. Otherwise you'll definitely miss calls & msgs.nnOverall a very good basic phone for everyday usage but not at all comparable with smart phones.
its a nice phone having all the features of x2-01 except:n1: u can't watch direct streaming video from internet(yuotube)n2: there is no usb connectivity for phone, annoying thingn3: Whats app is not supportedn4: you cannot update ur phone software if your sim is in roaming, and by default it uses sim 1 for updating phone softwaren5: For connecting to laptop, bluetooth is only medium. and if you are connecting your laptop to internet using this phone, sim1 will be used and you can't change as its by default.n6: Battery backup is 2 days for normal usage including music and internet usage for few hoursn7: memory card in under battery and without usb cable ,to transfer music and all u have to remove battery first , otherwise bluetooth will work for you.
