Got this for the kitchen. Could not see my wife sweating in the kitchen. There are many misconceptions about installing a AC in the kitchen. All of it rubbish. Our kitchen is around 100 sft, even a 0.8 ton would have sufficed but I went for a 1.5 ton 3 star for fast cooling and to reduce the load on the compressor. We have Samsung in most rooms but I have had good experience with ONIDA before and decided to go for this in our kitchen. It's been just a week and the AC is just great. The best part of this Ac is the vertical and horizontal swing, which allows you to control and set the air flow, so it does not flutter the gas flame p, while still cooling the room fast. The remote has a 'favorite' button, which helps do your desired setting and then, you need to press a single button to get your favorite setting. A very useful feature, which prevents fiddling with the remote and controls every time you switch the AC one.
