guys i must say dis camera impressed me alot....1st and foremost details given over here in flipkart differs wid da orignal product....the loweest shutter speed is 1/4 sec not 1/15... comming to the camera it provides a platform btwn the simple point and shoot and dslr... the zoom is excillent and the image does not shake even at 21x zoom thnx to O.I.S its the best in class i have even chkd the sony dsch-100,nikon l810 but no one provides stability like dis... moreover this cam provides u to set aperture and shutter speed iso etc manually if u dnt knw how to wrk wid dis the auto mode is also grt....my advise is dat dnt go for brand name niko canon etc...and panasonic is not a small brand... but people do thnk lyk dis... its a serious piece of steal go for it guys it will not disappoint u anyway... p.s-i bought dis cam from a local dealer in ahemdabad and it cost me arund 10800 bucks wid all the freebies which is provided by flipkart... 5star from my side...go for it.
I've been using this camera for 6 months now without any failures or decrease in performance. Till now, I have taken 400+ photos of crystal clear quality.nnFirstly I would like to thank all the reviewers of this product for helping me find a camera that suits my needs and for their reviews. Thanks to Flipkart for the lightning fast delivery and the great packaging, though these 3 days I was getting impatient! :PnnFrankly, I've never handled such a camera before. It's funny but the last camera we owned was the old Kodak one. I've only used digicams from some friends but always admired the close up and crisp pics online and in the magazines. This is seriously a great camera for a beginner who can't afford a DSLR now but willing to own one someday! :D nnThough I'm still quite unfamiliar with all the features and modes of this camera, there are some that I found really nice! Tried out the Program, Sports, Intelligent Auto mode, Flash and all that. Really nice grip. Great shape and solid build. Pics are great even at greater zoom. I tried the macro mode to capture close up of flowers. My friend took a macro of her phone and even the slightest dust on the screen was there in the pic :D The great thing about this cam is that it has manual mode too and a great shutter speed. I wanted to go for Canon but changed my mind when I read that it drains a lot of battery even though it has a high shutter speed.nnTIP-- make sure you refer the manual (elaborate one is in the CD) when using it for the first time. Everything is written clearly, ie. inserting batteries, memory card, fastening the lens cap, neck strap etc. etc. Be patient and calm and you'll get to know a lot. The more time you spend with your camera, the more you'll discover.nnOne drawback-- I dunno but I felt that the battery door is a bit flimsy. When using it for the first time, the moment I inserted the batteries, I had to literally fight with the cover to shut it. I was scared that I might break it! So be careful with that.n nYou'll surely enjoy when people really admire the pics you've taken and certainly admire your camera! It may not be a very pricey one but you'll enjoy the attention it gets!nnWhen you enable Digital zoom in the setup, you'll get more zoom! Recently I took a pic of the full moon and trust me, it was NASA type with craters visible! :D If your hands shake, get a tripod or a support like a window sill. nnI still have to discover a lot and pinpoint more features and drawbacks. It's not the best but it's better than a whole lot out there and it will not disappoint you at this price. As an amateur, I'm loving this camera and will never regret the decision of buying it! :DnnNote-- For the people who are complaining of bad quality, it can happen due to a lot of reasons like damaged internal parts, duplicate products etc. Even the reviews online say it's an awesome camera. I have taken a lot of pics ranging from very short distances to long distances such as the moon, and all came out perfectly. The pics in my laptop appear exactly as it appears on the LCD screen. Crisp and Clear!nnYou need to know how to focus, play with different settings and take A-class pics! When others can do it with the same camera, you can too! :D
