was comparing all fhd tvs in market. none can match the display of this one. sony and lg fall far behind. fell in love when i saw the demo and compared with normal fhd of panasonic itself. 49inch is the ideal size to buy now. sony android tv 43inch comes at same price. but this is a beauty from panasonic. the marketing is poor making it less known in market!
Buy a Panasonic product only if u have a Money plant at home. My USB drive stopped working even before i started using it.On contacting the technician, he agreed its a software issue and needs a upgrade. BUT it wasn't be done free of cost (costing 2500/= plus tax) because it was my MISTAKE of not using the USB DRIVE in its "Guaranty period". So my advice to all buyers is start using all its features from the 1st day itself (irrelevant of needed be).nAlso, the product i received had a scratch on its screen but i was told "Nothing happens coz of that".....in short no replacement.Be Happy with what u have .
Excellent TV, picture quality, build quality, features everything was great. Just go for it you wont regret with choice.
This is my first review on flipkart and I am going to discuss its pro and cons so that you can take an informed decision. nnWell, it arrived on 28th October 2016 on time as per my convenience. Got installed by Panasonic engineer next day without any charge, when I informed them same day that I have received the product. It was smooth and was done in a no-nonsense way. I got it under the exchange of my LCD panasonic. In fact, I did my research and was little confused whether I should go for cheap LEDs or expensive one, but I realised I needed a big screen from a stable brand where I can watch movies, documentaries and sports in full HD through my Tata Sky HD and Netflix subscription. I was clear that I don't need a TV to impress my neighbours and friends. And, I must say Panasonic Shinobi Pro model no.TH-49D450D pushed me to go for it. I also checked its price with its local dealer and I found Flikart Diwali offer is much better than what he quoted with same facilities and warranty. After 3 days, I bought the Google Chrome Cast and in a jiffy it was ready to cast my favourite contents from Netflix. Now, you may call it SMART TV. I find, 'SMART TV' is a marketing gimmick than a real need, though. nnIt's been more than a week and I am happy with its Ninja like performance. nnWhat's HOTnA. Product looks premium and sleek. nB. Colours are balanced and precise. It makes HD content look really stunning. nC. Its speakers are enough to give you a great sound experience. You don't need a sound bar at all unless you are a finicky. nD. As inflated by TV manufacturers, refresh rate is over rated thingy, however it means - 'The number of frames per second the television can display.' If you ask me, this model boasts 200 Hertz which I think is good as I haven't noticed motion blur as I had experienced in my LCD Panasonic one earlier. nnWhat's NOT nA. 2HDMI and 1 USB. It could have been three HDMI connection instead of two and even two USB ports. nB. Currently HDMI connections are from behind the TV. It could have been designed on side panels as USB connection is there. nC. Though, remote is functional in design, but it could have been designed more elegantly and user friendly. I expected some design evolution from Panasonic here. nnVerdict: nIf you are looking for a reputed brand and no-nonsense big screen LED Full HD TV, this model of Panasonic will not disappoint you and even your friends and envy neighbours. :-) nIf you are looking for a deal that made me go for it, is probably not there anymore. However, I still find it better than cheap LEDs TV brands. nnLast but not the least, Flipkart service was impeccable. And, I look forward to its quick, agile and hassle-less services in future too.
