Samsung AR18HV5NBWK 1.5 Ton Inverter Split AC

The service is really bad they are totally unprofessional. If you are living in mid sized towns please don't plan to by Samsung Inverter AC. I purchased this product directly from a showroom in Tenali (Guntur Dt) after doing lot of R&D about inverter and normal Split AC's.For 10 days i was happy that my choice for inverter AC is fine. On 11th day AC stopped working. When i approached the show room guys, they said they are logging a complaint and competent Samsung service engineer will come to find/ solve the problem. After 2 days with continues follow-ups (it was peak summer in AP and could not live with out AC) one guy turned up and went back saying i am not trained in Inverter AC's. After another two days, one more guy came and went back saying he will talk to showroom guys about the problem. He never informed the problem to us. We did lot of follow-ups with show room manager, Samsung Area Sales Mgr to understand the issue and possible solution from Samsung. After 15 days they confirmed compressor is failed and they haven't decided on the solution. Now its almost a month and still i am running behind show room guys to fix the issue or a replacement. I am trying to find options to file a case in consumer court.

Excellent AC. Using it from 3 months and it is working awesome. What do we expect from an AC, it should cool the room quickly and optimally, should consume less power, should be quieter, etc. This AC has all these functions. I also have voltas and carrier but this AC is lot better than them because of its low power consumption and quicker cooling capacity. Single user mode really saves electricity a lot. Air throw is excellent. The installation of AC was not very good by the service center guys but was also not very bad. I have not required to call them yet but will see how they service the AC as it seems they do not have enough knowledge of inverter ACs as it is a new concept for them. One thing more, it is one and only AC in the market which gives 10-year warranty on compressor. Overall, I am very very satisfied with the AC and would highly recommend it. Purchase price 45000 + 1200 intallation + 1800 for copper pipe and wire.
