The device is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad core cortex A53 processor which is seated on Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 chipset. The processor is paired with Adreno 308 graphics and RAM of 2GB which ensures multitasking without any interruption. The tablet runs on Google’s latest Android v7.1 (Nougat) operating system. It has a metallic unibody and available in with two different colour options- black and gold.
Camera and Storage
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017 LTE gets an 8 MP rear camera setup with an aperture of f/1.9. It also has a 5 MP sensor at the front to capture selfies and making video calls. The primary camera features autofocus, LED Flash and digital zoom and is capable to shoot full-HD (1080p) videos. The tablet provides 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 256GB with the help of a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017 LTE packs a powerful 5000mAh Li-ion battery that claims to last up to 14 hours of video playback. The tablet offers a wide range of connectivity options which include 4G LTE with voice calling support, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n/n 5GHz, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, a 3.5mm audio jack, GPS /A-GPS /GLONASS / Beidou and micro USB 2.0 port for superfast charging and transferring data.
