Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 8GB WiFi 3G tablet features a 7-inch WXGA (1,280 x 800 pixels) display with multi-touch capacitive touchscreen. Based on the body colors, it has two variants black and white. The tablet is 9mm thick and weighs 276g, and comes with back cover for protection.
Platform and Processor
The Samsung tablet operates on Android v4.4 KitKat OS for faster multitasking. The quad-core processor of the device is clocked at a speed of 1.2 gigahertz. It is coupled with 1.5GB RAM for a seamless performance.
Memory and Connectivity
The Galaxy Tab 4 can hold only 8GB of personal data but via microSD card it can pack up to 32GB of information. To stay connected with other tablets and devices, it features 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, BT4.0, USB2.0 etc. The GPS with GLONASS aids with the navigation needs.
Cameras and Battery
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 tablet owns a Full Frame 3 megapixel rear camera to capture special moments and also it is enabled with easy photo and video sharing options. Along with the main camera, it also features 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video chatting and other 3G needs. The standard Li-ion battery allows heavy usage of the tablet irrespective of 3G or Wi-Fi carriers.
The slate is packed with many fun filled shareable features like Group play, WatchON, ChatON, Samsung Link which are keeps us connected with friends and family. Also, the multi-window capability of the device allows us to view more than one application.
