Samsung MAX AR12HC2USNB 1 Ton 2 Star Split AC

I have not purchased here but my comments are in general about their ACs and after sales service.I have purchased lot of Samsung products including ACs, LED TV, Washing Machine, Laptop, etc. 10 days back, my AC stopped functioning and I complained to their toll free number. After two days, a guy checked it and told that there is gas leakage. I asked for urgent gas fill and after three days, a mechanic visited and told that indoor coil is leaking and asked me to replace it costing Rs 8000/- and there is also leakage of a valve. My AC is just around three years old and why there is leakage in coil. Is the material is of inferior quality. I am in Hyderabad and not in a sea shore where corrosion may be there. Their service center has told me that they will try to repair it and took it on 23rd May (Friday) morning. and promised to give it by 24th May. Today is 25th May (10PM ) more than 60 hours but they have not returned it. This AC is used by my sick mother and she is suffering like anything without it. If you can not service it properly, you would have told me then and I would have purchased a new one for my mother. Now I understand that Samsung new products are good but their service is worst. I am surprised that they do not have own service stations and depend on franchise only. Now I will work next one week to send the message of not buying Samsung products on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and see that others will not suffer for your worst service. AC repair is not rocket science and if in a city like Hyderabad, it takes more than 10 days to get any repair, then you can imagine in other cities. Product wise I do not have complaints but service is the worst. I might have made a couple of thousand phone calls but no use. I feel like dumping their ACs and buy others. Please take your own decision and by Samsung products at your own risk.
