The laptop seems terrific for the time being and for the price they offer 40k (2nd gen Ci5/4GB/1TB/1GB nvidia graphics/Win 7 HP).All the installation and setup including hard drive partition and all were so easy due to user-friendly interface and the getting started tour explained every thing very well. The graphics seems very good for a mid size game I installed. The display 15.6 wide screen looks cool. It came with ms office suite 2010, antivirus free for 60 days,and much more. 1TB hard disk is very valuable thing considering the price. In built microphone, webcam, very cool collection of shortcut keys, and all sorts of user friendly functions, etc makes me feel that it is perfect choice for 40k,for the time being. Later feed-backs and reviews will be given as time proceeds.nnIt is so sad that Samsung doesn't give much of such value for money products.
i bought this laptop on 21st may 2012 from nehru place efuturez in 40300 price with gift pack valued 1000 rs. flipkart is selling this in less price, good to see this. now my experience about this laptop........nn1-core i5 2.5 GHz is amazing, quick start after disabling various start up programs.nn2-mouse pad is very smooth lenovo and hp has very bad mouse pad.nn3-keyboard is outstanding including number pad with enough space.nn4-i added 4 gb additional ram and after adding 4gb kingston 1333mhz in 1200 rs ram it is now 8gb ram and speed is now very fast, including booting.nn5-1tb hard disk amazing.now i have 700 hd movies with 25 gb songs collection.nn6-dvd writer is very good.nn7-cooling is good comparison to hp, but i suggest to use cooling pad.nn8-15.6 inch screen amazing in seeing tv on this screennn9-1gb nvidia card with optimus technology great in gaming.nn10-camera works very fine.nn11-bluetooth 3.0 is really very fast comparison to 2.0nn12-the best feature is its battery backup that was the main reason behind purchasing this laptop. u cant believe but its true. battery backup is 6 hours others from hp or dell only 3 hours.nn13-now about software it comes with 64 bit windows home premium pre installed, but win7 ultimate is great. i installed win 7 ultimate with this. now i have dual operating system. win7 hp and win7 ultimate.remember win7 ultimate has various advantages comparison to win 7 hp. for example i was unable to install my old umax 4100 astra scanner with this win7hp that's why i installed win7 ultimate with this and win 7 ultimate supported that scanner after changing compatibility mode.nn14-it comes with samsung recovery program which is very good, i just inserted a dvd and i backed up 4gb driver.nnbefore buying this laptop i was planning for dos laptop because it would cost me 32000, but i preferred win7 original installed and i paid 40000, this is great because believe me genuine win 7 laptop help you so much in better functioning. if u want to format this laptop it is very easier just click one button which is not possible in dos laptop. i am 100 percent satisfied with this laptop. before buying this i hesitated about company but samsung customer care is amazing. if you need any assistance just make a toll free call and within 15 minutes engineer will call you back and assist you very well regarding any software and hardware matter. i can not resist myself for giving this product 5 rating. after buying and experiencing this laptop i love and i trust samsung and in future i can go for tv and mobile product from samsung without any hesitation. and a good news about this company samsung is now world's number 1 company in mobile manufacturing.
I've got the same laptop with same specifications, except for the one difference that mine was a 500GB hard disk... Now this model is priced at Rs39225,While i got it for 40K... So it's a GREAT DEAL... nGRAPHIC CARD is great... Plays all games FIFA11,Crysis,BOF3 great... So on the whole it's Great value for ypur money.... Cheap and best in the i5 class.... Go for it....
Pentium i5 is a very good processor and I see no reason why anyone would want i7 in the first place... Unless you are doing super computing and extremely complex programs with huge networking, i5 is too good a processor for all your needs.nnSamsung has optimized the i5 processor and in this lap, it is faster than other computers. So that is an additional plus point.nnYou get 1 TB hard disk... that is awesome....!nn1GB graphic card is good enough to play any games smoothly...nnWindows 7 HP is great... it is better than basic version.nnUsually a normal computer requires only 2 GB ram... so 4GB is more than sufficient. If you want more you can of course upgrade till 8 GB... but seriously it will not make any difference...nnI would recommend Samsung Quality...! Samsung products are much better these days than any other companies...nnCons...nn64 bit Windows HP... some programs will not work...nnOther than that it is a super laptop... I love it!!!
this samsung lap is value for money product but quality is not goodnand it is not 7.0 house battery back up it has 3.0 to 4.0 house battery back up and it has old series of graphics card 520mx nbetter graphic card is 630m series for gaming & animanetion
