This is a very good product from Samsung. The laptop is all that you are promised and more. The main positive of this would be its battery when you are gaming. I really put it through the works but it performed up to the mark. The one minus point I would like to give is that it comes pre-loaded with a Norton trial version which harasses you till the end of time. First things first remove it. Windows 8 is a breeze to use and it is extremely light on the system. A great buy for any gamer.

i thought samsung is sucess only in mobile but it is also very good in laptops section our group bought samsung different models one bought ultra,sleek basic and higher end each one of us is very happy we thought to dare it per darr ke aaga zindagi hai it proved to buy samsung laptop compare to other brands like lenovo,dell and please dont compare with hp(heating problem)...........

i bought this laptop on 12 november 2012 ,,not from flipkart bt from a nearby samsung store the games such as max payne 3 , black ops 2 etc are working smoothly and battery life is also good, i think samsung has provided the best configuration at this price no other company is providing the same at the same price so i would recommend to buy this laptop :)

I have been using the S01IN model for one and half years. Everything is good in this price range according to specification. Keyboard is not feasible to use because it has neither Caps Lock indicator nor Num Lock indicator. The mouse touch pad is so sticky. The manufacturer provides very cheap quality of plastic. Both of my screw bases near the hinges have been cracked by everyday use. When I asked it to be replaced they denied telling that it is physically damaged, so it cant be claimed by warranty. Truth about my screw bases is, it got damaged by itself by everyday use. Now to fix this problem I need to replace the entire bottom case of the laptop, which will cost me around 4k. One of friends also experienced the same. So guys my suggestion is not to buy this laptop by seeing only the specification it has. It does not have the accidental damage protection also. If you are not a rough and tough user then you go for it.

why not go for "Samsung NP350V5C-S06IN"? It has 3rd Gen Ci7 which makes a huge difference and yes, the price is exactly the same! OS is making the difference here, but Win7 is no bad IMO. :) . . . . . . . . . . .
