As I always say about Samsung, excellent marketing, poor engineering. Samsung is into every other product now, but quality of all of them is below average. Its complicated to use this printer, and I faced problem with the printer, as the loading tray became defective, I went mad to get samsung honour their Onsite Warranty. Finally, I got it repaired from a local dealer, and sold it off. Now planning to buy HP or Canon.
This is the worst printer the paper gets jammed every 2 print out it gives and also crumbles the paper flipkart gave a defected product they also cleared my order history. Never trust flipkart!! I also wish i can give it 0
I had a Samsung SCX-4200 multifunctional printer almost like this. It worked fine till a lightening struck and then scan function not working. Gave it to a Samsung authorized service centre hoping to get it fixed. But sadly these technicians don't know how to repair and after repeated calling and almost 1 month past with no progress decided to pick it back. When reached there I found the unit now not only don't scan but also not print too. When I gave them the toner is almost more than half toner left and had only printed less than 300 pages and still some 700 more pages (original samsung toner cost more than 4k) can be printed but the toner they completely used and also when inspected the toner, the drum got deep scratch too thus making it totally unusable in any form. I am not telling Samsung is a bad brand but their service centre's and technicians are less trained and better not give there for repairing any fault as they can make it worse and also add many more faults to the device. Also their service centre's don't have special centre's based on products even refrigerator servicing can be seen along with printer servicing.
The printer is working fine. I found a small crack on the backside of the printer. I did not report it earlier because the printer was working fine and also I was desperately in need of the printer when I received it to finish some of my work. P M Suresh
I ordered this item on 17th June, and flipkart makes the delivery on 21st. But Flipkart can ship the item within 2 days in my city (I had the good experience in one day as well). Otherwise everything OK. Coming to the Printer functionality. This printer toner is coming with a built in sensor which allow us to print 1500 papers without any issues. After that this will not allow us to further printing. This is the business tricks of Samsung. For a uninterrupted printing, we should change the toner in every 1500 sheets printing done. Else, we have to stick out some small stickers in front of the sensor.
