While I trip on an iPhone, I could never get my mum to use a touch-screen. She was way too happy with an over-the-counter Nokia for worth 1 grand.nThis phone seems to be the perfect one for a senior citizen, who just wants to make and receive calls. The product has large keys - easy to use and easy to see. The dedicated torch switch is a thoughtful addition.nThe icing on the cake is the cradle charger, and it doesn't overcharge the device. The other features are customizable (maybe by someone younger) to suit the needs. SOS must be carefully explained and tested multiple times, or should be disabled altogether.nFor daily purposes, it feels comfortable with the rubberized feel. The hands-free is functional, and can be used while the phone is resting on its cradle.nNow, I don't feel too guilty for using an iPhone, because my mum has hers! Thanks to Seniorworld and Flipkart, for making this available.
The phone is just okay, and 2 stars specifically for the Price.nThe company is clearly taking advantage of the fact that there's no compition / substitute in the market.nValue for money: 3 out of 10.nPhone: not so great, it's not easy to set speed dial. The images on the phone for contacts aren't big enough.nnPros:nBig keypadnLoud and clearnGood battery backup.nnThe phone isn't really bad, but the the cost is just too much.nI'm thinking to train my mother and get TAB that she can use as substitute, lots of benefits specifically video call.
These are the top phones designed with senior citizens in mind
