its becoz that it doesnt have a single lens reflex technology there is no eye view finder in this sony camera . it has only lcd its just a camera having interchangable lenses . so its best to buy nikon d3000

BEST CAMERA FOR THOSE WHO LIKE PHOTOGRAPHY AND DONT KNOW ABOUT HOW TO USE A PROFESSIONAL CAMERA . IT IS FULL OF PEATURES AND VERY EASY TO USE AND I MUST SAY TILL DATE IT IS THE BEST CAMERA I HAVE EVER USED.........

i did a lot of reserch on this....was undecided between a super zoom and an hybrid;then nex3 or nex c3....nex5 was always on the list.panasonic kept threateningly close to my final decision.dropping prizes of the authentic DSLRS was also tempting me....then i saw the georgous olympus PEN series.hx9v appeared out of no where!!i was a bit uncertain about the micro fourthird technology and here i was seriously considering one which is not even a proper MFT!!what mattered the most at the end was the prize(18250/- trust me),the JAPANese brand and some commensense.

Although I haven't bought any of these yet but would be very happy to own one. It can be said as a bridge between slr's and the advanced point and and shoots. Well after a lot research on it I concluded on the following. pros.... 1. interchangeable lenses. 2. big sensor size. 3. full manual control like dslr's. 4. cost of the lenses are pretty cheap compared to those of the dslr's. 5. Handy and light weight. cons..... 1. no view finder. 2. no control ring on the body of the camera. well a must buy for low budgets........... and those who has a craze for photography.....

Recently brought this camera! Its amazing!!! Loaded with features that I have been looking for - compact size, good RAW image, manual operations, tiltable LCD monitor, shutter speed, ISO and compact flash giving professional quality shoot. Interface is damn simple making is easier to use!
