I got this camera a few months back. The looks are fantastic, excellent build and a very comfortable camera key. The device's 3 inch touchscreen is a resistive one but has great sensitivity. The camera is particularly good at focusing. Sweep panoramas are great. What is bad is that the image quality is not good. On the screen of the camera it looks nice but on a monitor, the reality is revealed. The shots have a lot of smudged out detail and the video also has a poor quality. Continuous auto focus in videos works quite well though. All in all, this is a satisfactory product.

My first camera, a gift basically for my birthday, and have had a great time with it till date.nnIts definitely hard to grip this piece of beauty, and requires a lot of practice, and continuous shooting for a month or so should get you going.nnIts good for macro photography and for those nice family moments in full daylight, at night, if you fully understand, its good to keep in manual and shoot with a high ISO and just hope that the photo comes out good. nnThe flash, I use it in slow synchro(usually in manual) the pictures come out good. But you will definitely outgrow all the options on the camera very fast. nnNevertheless, it has been my great companion for many trips, since its small it fits in my pocket and can be taken anywhere, its quite robust in build and doesn't disappoint with pictures taken in broad daylight, or even during the evenings especially when there is good light.nnDon't buy it because you want a good zoom etc, it has only 3x of optical zoom, and its only good for photos of family functions and the kind. Not for serious photographers who want great zoom, think before you buy whether you want the features that are built in this or some other camera which will better cater to your needs, there are good cameras out there in the same price range from Canon or Nikon which are equally or much better in image quality(definitely not saying that the image quality is bad in Sony, its as good as it can get).nnOpt for this if you want something that fits in your jeans pocket and can be taken anywhere without much fuss. It will be a great companion for those nice moments. It definitely serves the purpose. Chao!

I bought this camera today n i must say, it is handy n gud !! but if we tok bout it picture quality n zoom "it lacks that"....Auto focus in not gud & "One thing - It does no properly capture the text"............................................................................................
