Sony HDR-PJ240E Camcorder

Hi, I am Professional Photographer, and I am frequent buyer of flipkart. I want to buy a good camcoder for my personal use. I am Seraching for that and I like this sony model....but when I compare the price, u people also take delivery charges and it price also the same as compare to the showroom prices, then why should i buy from flipkart, and what benefit I get........

Since, i gifted this product to my sister...so i have no idea about the product. However, i thought i should mention the fraud going on the online shopping websites. I bought this product from flipkart and it was delivered in the stipulated time. On the box it was written that the memory card is free with product and it is inside the box. When we opened the box, there was no memory card. We immediatly complaint to the flipkart customer care. They said that within 2-3 days of time will resolve the issue. However, after continuous mail exchange and discussion with executives they finally said that it is not their responsibility and I should contact the Sony. I argued that i bought from flipkart website and not from the sony outlet, then why i should contact sony. Then they suggested to buy the memory card from the website, which we again denied. One fine day the executive from flipkart talked roughly and i decided to file a complaint in the consumer forum. I did so. After 2-3 days of time the flipkart executive again called me and started negotiating for some gift voucher and take back the case. I siad that i do not need voucher and return this product. Then they fiannly decided to give me a 4 GB memry card worth rupees 900. My point is that: 1. These online websites are selling products from different sellers and these seller steal such parts from the main box, in another way they are pushin you to buy the same free gift from thier website by paying huge money..... 2. I don't know what was the size of the memory card....but they negotiated for 4 GB....It may be possible that the memory card was of 8 GB. ALso, when the memory card was missing from the box....it means the seller has already opened the box....i.e. they may be selling the duplicate products...so buyers be careful..... 3. I urge all the buyers to file a complaint in consumer forum in such fraud cases (I filed with AKOSHA, an online consumer forum). Flipkart try to defend the seller unnecessarily!!!! This shows the nexus between the flipkart and sellers....so be careful...
