Amkette launches XS Series productivity mice in India with hyper-fast scrolling and tri-mode connectivity, starting at Rs 2,199

Amkette has added three new wireless mice to its XS Series productivity range: the XS Flow Plus, XS Natural Plus, and XS Flow 2 Speed. As per the brand, these mice are designed for hybrid professionals and users with multiple devices.

Pricing and availability

Pricing starts at Rs 2,199 and reaches Rs 3,299 for the flagship Flow 2 Speed. All three mice are available now on Amkette’s official website and Amazon India.

Amkette has indicated that more XS Series products are on the way, signalling this is just the start of a larger push into productivity peripherals.

Three mice, three distinct options

The XS Flow 2 Speed is the main product. Its key feature is a hyper-fast metallic vertical scroll wheel that can scroll up to 20,000 rows in a single flick. Amkette points out that this feature is usually found only in premium mice at higher prices. It also has a Hall-effect magnetic horizontal scroll wheel for easy navigation across spreadsheets and timelines.

Additional features include:

  • It offers an adjustable DPI up to 8000
  • 1000Hz polling rate
  • Silent 8-button layout
  • Tri-mode connectivity with 2.4GHz
  • Three Bluetooth channels
  • Wired USB-C
  • It supports up to four devices at once

The XS Flow Plus is slightly less expensive, at under Rs 2,299. It shares the dual metallic scroll system and Hall-effect horizontal wheel with the Flow 2 Speed. It runs on the Instant S203 sensor with a DPI of up to 6400 and a 1000Hz polling rate. It also adds RGB lighting across seven modes. This provides visual customisation for users looking for a bit more flair in their productivity tools.

The XS Natural Plus, priced Rs 2,199, takes a different route with its vertical ergonomic shape for extended comfort. Its standout feature is a built-in OLED display that shows real-time battery levels, connectivity mode, and DPI. This feature should make switching between devices much easier. It uses the same Instant S203 sensor and tri-mode connectivity as the Flow Plus. But it also swaps out RGB lighting for improved comfort and the OLED display.

All three mice share PTFE glide feet, 800mAh Type-C fast-charging batteries, silent buttons, and a web-based Multi-OS Control Centre for remapping and macros. Against rivals like Logitech’s MX Anywhere, Microsoft Arc Mouse, and offerings from Zebronics and Portronics, the XS Series stands out by offering hyper-fast scrolling and an OLED display at a price point where most competitors offer neither.

The hyper-fast scroll wheel on the Flow 2 Speed directly competes with Logitech’s MagSpeed scrolling, which is found on the MX Master 3S, priced significantly higher in India. Amkette’s similar scrolling experience for Rs 3,299 provides great value for professionals who frequently work with spreadsheets and navigate lengthy documents. The OLED display on the Natural Plus is also uncommon at this price point. Most mice only offer basic feedback with a blinking LED for connectivity mode.
