ASUS has expanded its consumer PC lineup in India with the V501 desktop series and the AiO V400 all-in-one models. These new systems target small businesses, home offices, and families that need reliable everyday computing.

Price and availability

The V501 desktops start at Rs 42,990 and will be available starting March 16 through the ASUS Eshop. They will then be available in ASUS Exclusive Stores, Flipkart, Amazon, and authorised retail partners from March 25. ASUS V501 desktops: Built for SOHOs and small businesses

The ASUS V501 desktop lineup includes the V501MV Mini Tower with a 15-litre chassis and the V501SV Small Form Factor model with a 9-litre chassis. ASUS markets these systems for small offices, studios, startups, and consultants who need stable daily performance.

The desktops use up to Intel Core 7 240H processors and support up to 64GB DDR5 expandable memory. ASUS claims this setup can easily handle tasks such as accounting software, CRM platforms, spreadsheets, documentation, and light creative work.

ASUS has also emphasised reliability during extended work sessions. The system features copper heat pipes for thermal management. Brand says they operate at noise levels as low as 38dB under full load. An 80+ Bronze certified power supply also improves energy efficiency for businesses running machines all day.

ASUS AiO V400 series: Clean setups for homes and hybrid work

In addition to the desktops, ASUS introduced the AiO V400 series, which includes the V440 and V470 models. These systems combine a large display and computing hardware in one unit, minimising cable clutter and saving desk space.

The AiO V400 series features up to Intel Core 3 processors, along with up to 8GB DDR5 RAM and SSD storage. ASUS states that this setup can easily support everyday tasks like streaming, online learning, web browsing, video calls, and light productivity.

A notable feature is HDMI In and HDMI Out support, allowing the device to serve both as a PC and a standalone monitor. This flexibility can be useful in homes where multiple users share a single system for work, study, and entertainment.

This launch reflects a wider trend in India’s PC market, where brands are focusing on affordable desktop computing for hybrid work and small business settings. While laptops lead in consumer sales, desktops provide better long-term value, easier upgrades, and more stable performance for office environments.

In this market, ASUS competes with offerings from HP, Lenovo, and Dell, which have similar entry-level desktops and AiO PCs. ASUS seems to stand out by offering expandable DDR5 memory, compact designs, and quieter thermal solutions. This appeals to small offices and home users who value reliability over raw performance.

For buyers, the V501 desktops are more suitable for businesses or users looking for upgrade options. Meanwhile, the AiO V400 series is ideal for households or compact workspaces that appreciate simplicity and minimal desk clutter.
