Beats, Apple’s audio brand, has launched Powerbeats Fit in India, the latest addition to its popular Powerbeats family. The new earbuds build on the Beats Fit Pro’s design and features, but with better comfort, durability, and portability. The Powerbeats Fit is priced at Rs 24,900 and is available in four colours: Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink. It’s available to order now on apple.com, with in-store availability starting October 2nd.

What’s new in Powerbeats Fit

Powerbeats Fit introduces a redesigned wingtip that ensures a stable yet comfortable fit, especially during workouts. The case is now more compact and comes with an IPX4 water and sweat resistance rating, making it suitable for fitness enthusiasts.

To cater to different ear shapes, the earbuds come with four ear tip sizes (XS, S, M, L). The audio experience includes Beats’ signature powerful sound, Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), and Transparency Mode.

Connectivity and call features

Thanks to the Apple H1 chip, iPhone users get seamless integration with features like Hey Siri, Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, and Find My. Android users, on the other hand, can access one-touch pairing, custom controls, battery status, and a Fit Test through the Beats app. The earbuds also promise crisp call quality, using dual beam-forming microphones and noise reduction processing.

Battery life

Powerbeats Fit is claimed to deliver up to 30 hours of battery life with the case and about 7 hours per charge. A quick 5-minute charge gives 1 hour of playback with Fast Fuel charging. The case itself is 17 percent smaller than the Beats Fit Pro and also has IPX4 resistance.

At Rs 24,900, the Powerbeats Fit is positioned in the premium segment, competing with Apple’s own AirPods Pro 3 and high-end options from Sony, Bose, and Samsung, but still priced more. If you’re an iPhone user, Powerbeats Fit makes sense thanks to the H1 chip and deep iOS integration. It’s especially appealing if you want something more secure for workouts compared to AirPods Pro.

For Android users, the Beats app ensures you still get most features, but the price may feel steep compared to alternatives like the Sony WF-1000XM5 or Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro, which also offer ANC and spatial audio at a similar or lower price.
