Price and availability

GIGABYTE Gaming A16 starts at Rs 1,69,990 and will soon be available at offline retail channels and E-commerce platforms.

The product

The GIGABYTE GAMING A16 is tailored for gamers, creators, students, and professionals. It combines the performance of AMD Ryzen X3D processors with GIGABYTE’s well-known engineering standards. AMD’s X3D processors use 3D V-Cache technology to stack extra cache directly on the processor die. This innovation provides notable gaming performance benefits over traditional CPU designs, especially in games that require quicker data access and lower latency.

Specific configuration details, display specs, and pricing have not been revealed at the announcement. GIGABYTE has stated that more information will be available through its retail channels in India.

The manufacturing partnership

GIGABYTE has teamed up with Dixon Technologies, one of India’s largest electronics contract manufacturers, to make the GAMING A16 locally. This partnership combines GIGABYTE’s product engineering and quality control with Dixon’s local manufacturing skills. This method follows how many global tech brands have set up their manufacturing operations in India in recent years.

To oversee the launch, GIGABYTE’s Vice President of Global Sales, Sinclair Hsiao, travelled to India with senior leaders from product management, procurement, materials planning, and quality assurance. The active involvement of GIGABYTE’s global leadership team shows that the company views this move not just as a compliance task but as a key investment in the Indian market.
