Roblox has added Hindi as a supported language across its platform, Creator Hub, and Roblox Studio. This change makes it easier for millions of Hindi-speaking users in India to access, create, and engage on the platform in their preferred language. The rollout is part of Roblox’s larger localisation strategy for India and comes after the recent launch of age-based Kids and Select accounts in the country.

What the update covers
Users can now choose Hindi as their account language by going to Settings, Account Info, and Language in the Roblox app. The update includes in-game strings, game products, game names, and game descriptions. Automatic Hindi translation features are now available. This lets creators make their games and avatar items accessible to Hindi-speaking audiences without having to translate manually.
Roblox has also included Hindi SEO support. This allows language-specific platform links, assets, and experience pages to be indexed by search engines. As a result, Hindi-speaking users searching for Roblox content in Hindi should find relevant results more easily. This will improve the visibility of both the platform and the experiences created by individual users.
What is coming next
Roblox plans to add Hindi support for chat translation in a future update. This will let users communicate across language barriers within the platform. This addition will be an important step toward making Roblox truly multilingual in its social aspect, beyond just its interface.
The Hindi language rollout is a deliberate and well-timed localisation move. India is one of Roblox’s largest and fastest-growing markets, with a user base that skews young and is spread across both urban and tier 2 markets where Hindi is the primary language for digital consumption. By making the platform accessible in Hindi, the brand is removing one of the more persistent friction points for new user adoption outside major metros.
