Xiaomi is set to roll out the HyperOS 3 update with the latest Android 16 version. This update also brings new features and visual changes, including the Dynamic Island-inspired HyperIsland. Last month, Xiaomi released the complete rollout schedule for all its devices receiving the HyperOS 3 update. It will be available to users in China first, and then it will expand to global markets. But some Xiaomi devices are reportedly getting the global beta update of HyperOS 3.
According to a report by XiaomiTime, three Xiaomi devices are set to receive the HyperOS 3 global beta update this week. The list includes:
- Xiaomi 15 Ultra: OS3.0.1.0.WOAEUXM
- Xiaomi 15: OS3.0.2.0.WOCEUXM
- Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro: OS3.0.1.0.WOYMIXM and OS3.0.1.0.WOYEUXM
This beta update is for the global units of the mentioned Xiaomi devices. So those who are interested in checking out the features ahead of the official rollout can do so, provided the update has reached these devices. The report says that it should be available by this week, but it hasn’t specified which markets will get it first.
More Xiaomi devices are slated to get the HyperOS 3 beta program through October and November. These include: Xiaomi 15T Pro, Xiaomi 15T, Xiaomi MIX Flip, REDMI Note 14 Pro+ 5G, REDMI Note 14 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 14 Pro, REDMI Note 14, POCO F7 Ultra, POCO F7 Pro, POCO F7, POCO X7 Pro, POCO X7, Xiaomi Pad Mini, and Xiaomi Pad 7.

HyperOS 3 is based on the latest Android 16 version. It’s also a major update as it includes tons of visual changes and features. Over 100 system-wide animations have been updated for a more fluid look and a seamless visual experience in HyperOS 3. A new addition is the HyperIsland, which is inspired by the Dynamic Island that basically creates a mini screen from the punch-hole camera. You can switch between content smoothly and effortlessly from HyperIsland, and also swipe down to open a floating window.

The new HyperOS update also brings AI Cinematic lock screen with a 3D effect, and AI Dynamic Wallpapers that bring your regular wallpapers to life. The Home screen has also been redesigned with new icons and versatile widgets. The gallery app has also been updated with a cleaner layout and better search options.
