I am using Vodafone 858 for couple of months now and my experience with this phone is very satisfactory. At initial stage, i read multiple reviews about this phone, you tube videos, blogs etc. I saw a Plus points more than the negative points and went ahead and bought this phone. My initial two days, i was spending much time on learning the Android as i never used it before. Yes, when i say i used much, you know the fact, battery life, yep, i need to charge for once in 6 hours. At one point of time in my first week, i regretted.. did i buy a bad phone which could not fit good in battery performance. But that was my wrong impression. After i felt comfortable with Android, now i really wanted to test and see how long the battery can sustain a day. So i left a two days just for attending calls and see the performance. The result was not much fruitful. The 6 hours of battery life time just extended to another hours. So on average of 8 hours i need to recharge my battery so i can use for the rest of the day usage. I felt again somewhat uncomfortable for choosing this phone time., but again that is wrong. So now focused on searching why the battery drains so fast. Now i have a clue. My GPS was ON all the time. The 3G and GPRS was active all the times. So i decided to switch them off and decided to see the battery performance. YESS.. now the battery performance is much improved. i could get the battery for almost throughout a day. A screen and its interface is somewhat crappy.. but trust me. android phones are customisable and you can change anything everything as per your need. I upgraded to Gingerbread ROM, and yes it gave me a complete high end phone with the excellent UI, and battery is lasting only after two days now even with GPRS/3G and GPS use.Overall, you are never going to get a similar phone which gives you all the customisation in Just 4500 RS.
m using it since during 6 month nd hving no issue... its goin so well ,,,, look wise nd simple nd sytly,.,,,so compare to others which belowin this price,,,vodafone is so much better.......................................................
