It has been almost a month I bought this TV. This is not a full smart tv. Only pre installed applications are working. You cannot install new apps like Ditto, YuppTv, Hulu etc on this model. Google play store is just for name sake. This is just a big screen with wifi and youtube thru browser. This model does not even support you tube app from google play store. Though Upscale to 4K is supported that is only for settop box Tv channels. If you play 1080p content thru youtube, the clarity is bad. it does not upscale to 4k and I can see patches at high motion pictures. Better to buy a FULL HD Tv(anybrand) instead of 4k smart tv and a chromecast will make it smart Tv. To play 4K content thru net, you need to have 15MBPS continuous speed or movie size is minimum 5GB which is very limited on the internet now. Service is poor from Vu tv, they dont bother to your queries or complaints. Flipkart delivery is awesome, but I felt like they want just to make sure the customer wont change his mind and cancel the order. Never believe in flipkart return policy, Once delivered they will find ways not to take it back. Finally recommend to go for a brand Tv even if it costs a bit more. Hope fully flipkart doesnot filter this review out as this a genuine user experience.
Bought this TV during the Happy Vu year campaign. I wasn't expecting much as for a 4k Tv its dirt cheap. I was really not sure how good the quality would be as i hadn't heard about Vu earlier. nnFirstly the service was really good. It was delivered the next day & the installation was done the same day. The picture quality is amazing. Need to compare them side by side but i thing it's as good as my samsung Smart Tv. The sound quality is pretty decent too. But i feel its more suited for smaller areas like bedrooms. For bigger areas i would suggest using external speakers. There is a lot of other functionality too like Miracast, Google Play Store, A gaming application etc. the usual with all smart TVs. Also, they provide you with an alien looking air mouse remote which i love as it makes typing a lot easier. It has some voice control functions too. The only con which i see as of now is that it doesn't have a Netflix application available currently.nTo conclude, it's an amazing tv for it's PRICE. Can't really ask for more. Vu is probably the One plus of the television market. Not really sure how they're doing it but it works !
