I would like to review this product from 3 aspects. i)Delivery ii)Installation iii) TV Quality.ni) Flipkart till date has never disappointed me.I am always surprised by the way Flipkart manages it commitment. I bought this product on 17th October(3.30PM) at Rs 44990/- and got this delivered on 18th October( 10AM). Not even 24 hours also that too free delivery. Delivery was very smooth and the person who came for delivery was also good enough.nii)Installation is one of the major areas which takes a backseat in such a smooth ride. The person who came for my installation( from Jeeves) was horrible. First he started suggesting me various wall mounting options and quoted a huge price for that. Then when I told in Flipkart all those wall mounting stand comes for a cheap price he started bashing flipkart itself saying they dont come up with a warranty, fake product etc.I didnt tell anything and just remained silent and politely refused to buy any additional wall mounting option and instead asked him to go for the wall mounting provided with the VU TV. Then he started drilling the wall and there also he started grumbling again and again saying concrete wall etc and told me that he will drill only 3 holes instead of 4(as 4th one is giving trouble). When I refused it, he told he will drill another 4 holes at a different point. I accepted that also. Then also he just fixed the screws in an absurd manner. NOt uniform at all. By that time I was already upset. Then I asked him to fix the stabilizer on the wall, he refused it straightforward and finally just fitted the TV on the wall. Then he started explaining me the TV features in a hurry and packed his bag and rushed away. Afterwards when I assembled and clear everything I found out that the table mount(which comes with the TV) is missing. Then I called that guy and told him the same. He started fumbling but told me to contact Flipkart. I immediately contacted Flipkrt and they told they will provide me a new one by next 2 days. So guys whoever is buying please just be careful of the installation people.niii)VU TV.....what can I say about it. It has just exceeded all my expectations. the picture clarity is too good. The best feature is watching HD channels. You will just enjoy it.for this price we cant expect better than this. SD channels are also very good and infact I feel its better than Samsung though cant compare it with SONY. Sound Quality is manageable.This TV has got lot of Smart features. I am yet to use all of them. Remote is little bit messy.But honestly If anyone actually wants to go for the best TV within a budget then you can blindly opt for this one. Initially my mother and my wife were little hesitant whether we should opt for this TV or not as this has no brand value but after seeing the TV and watching the picture quality from yesterday they are now saying that my decision was worth taking it. I just cant stop rating this product and flipkart a five star(though wanted to deduct 1 star) for the installlation goof up. But Flipkart response was way too good after that..nGood luck and hope my review helps atleast one person. Check if you are getting a good deal on this TV just blindly go for it. You will always be happy about your decision!!!
Have been using this from 1 week....just loving it....picture quality us excellent....went for Tatasky and the HD channels look great.nnFlipkart delivery happened within one day..and the trcnicisn came on the same day for installation. BTW installation is free.nnWent for a table mount....since the wallmount given with the package static and is not flexible....once wall mounted...you may have trouble using the USB/HDMI...since they are little inside....nnYes the WiFi works great.nnOverall I'm enjoying...so far so good...I think I made the right choice.nnThanksnPrasanna
An excellent TV. Needs a little practical lesson. Please ask your engineer to make a visit.nThe colour and image reproduction is high class.
Before buying this TV, I read all the reviews by customers. Everyone has written that TV was delivered in 2 days time and installed on next day.That is truth.But what's the use of those services if TV itself is of Poor quality.TV shows Still image as good.But if I talk about Motion scenes.e.g. watching Cricket, Football.It is worst TV I have ever seen in my life.TV boasts about Refresh Motion Rate of 120 Hz.That looks Ok on paper but in actual I don't think it's more than 20-30 Hz.If a cricket ball is hit for 4 or 6.Image gets highly blurred.U can't see how ball has moved to boundary or what fielder is doing.Only when ball becomes slow it shows. Similarly watching Football, u can't see if someone has hit an intense shot.Image becomes highly blurred for that fraction of 1-2 sec.Even with Samsung/Sony Tv's which have 50 Hz rate.I have never seen sth like this.Now I understood why it's so cheap.I got duped by VU and Flipkart. Now I am asking for a refund/replacement.It's more than 1 week since I placed my request.Neither Flipkart nor VU Techinicans are respondingly properly.I recommend everyone to not buy this TV.It's a waste of money. Offcourse Quality comes at a price.From some of my friends I have heard that 40" TV of VU is ok and does not have this problem.Based on the good feedbacks of my friends for 40" TV, I went for this 55" TV but situation is entirely different here.
Very good in all aspects.use Digital Tv connection to see the real quality of product.best in colours, sound and sharpness.thanks for the flipkart , for their in time delivery and fast instalation. believe in the product , it will not disappoint u.
