Initially placed the order for a 55 inch 4k Vu flat screen but as soon as I got out of the Payment gateway, the search screen refreshed and the curved 55 inch 4k tv appeared! It had just gone live on Flipkart.. I've always wanted a curved tv in my living room without having spent a bomb on it.. this was a lovely opportunity coupled with the discounted price and the offer on axis cards. Too good to pass up! Immediately cancelled the order and ordered the curved tv.nnThe product was promptly delivered the next day morning while the installation was scheduled for the same day.. I wanted it wall mounted but the service person missed to get the wall mount with him! Ideally it's supposed to be within the box but it was missing from this one.. he assured he'll be back the next day with the wall mount..nnThe tv was duly installed n wall mounted today morning while all the functions of the tv explained.. once done, I set out to explore my new toy..nnThe 4k display is amazing.. I immediately connected my external disk n was able to view my entire collection.. it plays all the formats.. lacks a dedicated Netflix button which I sorely miss.. excellent picture quality n resolution.. nnInitial feedback:nAwesome display.. handy n solid curved remote in line with the tv shape.. In case of a power cut, the backup battery in the tv ensures the tv is not switched off for a minute, much before the generator kicks in.. hence no disruption at all.. Haven't tried out all the features yet hence will post my next feedback after a while..
The TV the of premium quality build, very nice display and 4K upscaling is great. Its missing 3.5 mm jack which is very important for connecting external speakers as the TV speakers are good but not very great. About display quality I must say its really great and 4K upscaling is nothing less than premium quality TVs like Samsung, Sony, LG, etc.
