I purchased Celkon A27 from flipkart before 3 days. I was little hesitant to buy as Celkon is a new brand , but after using it for 3 days , I feel it was a descent deal. Pros :- 1) Display - 4'6 display is simply superb. Touch is super silky. It will give you Google nexus feel. 2) GPU - Can play almost any high end game including NOVA3 , NFS, Asphalt 7. This phone never hangs. 3) Comes with a flap cover & screen protector, out of the box which is really nice. 4) It includes all the sensors which MMX A110 lags. 5) Secondary camera(2 MP) is better than many 0.3 MP VGA cameras , if you want to use skype. 6) I feel battery backup is descent . It is around a day with single 2G SIM. But if your usage is low then it may last you to even 2 days. Cons - 1) I could not record 720p videos using cameras . I mean option is there, but camera hangs(but not phone) if you select "fine" option. But that seems completely software issue. Hope Celkon will release an update for it . 2) Camera quality is same as MMX A110/ Lava IRIS 501.Nothing to boast of. Flash is little weak to illuminate the surrounding. pictures are not good in low light conditions. 3) Ear-phones are of poor quality... but who cares.. Verdict : - If you don't like a 5' huge, bulky slate like device which is either out of stock or overpriced & are ready to show some trust on a developing brand then go for Celkon 27. I am sure I can say the same for Celkon 225. it is really a neatly designed product & worth your money. Tips - If you buy , & somehow like treating your mobile as a toy to experiment with, then take root access & remove all Bloatwares that Celkon ships. You can surely see improvement in battery performance & free RAM. I get almost 240 MB free RAM which is very good .

i have purchased a week back till to day i did not find even a single plus point comparing with any other phone.more over the BIG C people have charged more

Battery..this phone can not be used without charger plugged in for charging always..

only disadvantage is that battery comes down fastly.when using internet and wi fi........... all others are very nice. build quality is also good.

Please think a while before purchasing it becasue the battery doesnt last more than one hour. Worst Battery. I hope cellcon adress this problem in future releases. Overall look of the phone is ok, software is good but these are all good only when the battery lasts atlease for a reasonable hours. Camera is just as 2 mp. i is not haveing the quality of 8 mp camera. cellcon finally over promised and under deliverd in this model.

I brought this mobile from a retail outlet in Hyderabad. Surprised by its performance and build quality. I looked for Micromax A110 before buying this product, but no stock. Then i saw this mobile. Up on checking reviews on various sites including flipkart, i went for this mobile and never felt i did wrong. People looking for budget android smart phone can buy this one closing your eyes. Here are few pros and cons for those who look to buy this mobile. Pros: Many, Touch is really good. 2] Nicely fits in your shirt pocket. 3] 8 mp Camera with multishot option. 4] Display is really good indoors. In Sunlight a bit difficult. 5] Built in necessary Apps. 6] I'm fine with dual core processor. The phone never hanged. 7] Good performance with multiple apps Open. 8] and on...
