The specs of Karbonn mobiles and tablets are great - you see at it, compare the price and will definitely like to have one. But the problems start just after that.nnI purchased Karbonn smart Tab 8, just by seeing the specification and price. It was great and I was too happy. But just after two and half month, the tab started hanging, screen started getting green, the volume was getting up and down automatically. I contacted the service centre and handed over the tab for repair.nnHow much time do you expect for repair - four days, 2 weeks, a month? Wrong - On 7th Oct 13, it has passed four months and the tab is still under repair. I contacted service center many times and lastly came to know that they have sent the tab to their central service center. Tried calling the toll free number - no response. Either the call will not get connected or they will simply not lift the phone. Try it yourself. Mailed with a nasty letter - no response. One time when they lifted, they said there are lots of phones and tabs PILED up for repair and mine will be repaired when the turn comes!nnTo cut the story short - buy it if you just want to use it for one or two months. It will definitely get some problem by that time and then simply throw it away. Don't ever try to contact or go to service center, you will get headaches for free!! Well done Karbonn!!

I received the phone yesterday and here are my review points:nnPros:n1. Very good screen. Antutu says 240 PPI and screen is very bright and touch is versy fast and smooth.n2. Processor is fast and Antutu says it is made from NEON.n3. WIFI, Bluetooth works very well. Made skype video call and no issues with it.n4. ANTUTU gave a score of "10816" which is just awesome.nnCons:n1. Very bad quality screen guard placed(it is just a plastic put by the manufacturer)n2. Camera is good only in day light and very very bad in the dark places.n3. Colour is dull black and not the full black as shown in the pictures.nnOverall it is more than worth the money at this price. I recomend this phone.

Received the product withing 2 days, Nice job Flipkart.nnFirst things first : For BOX contents and accessories one can refer to youtu.be/NyvnJHAOfgcnnNow coming to the product,nSpecs wise its a very nice phone with ample firepower(MT6572 chipset, Dual core clocked at 1.3Ghz) to give lag free general(browsing, HD playback etc.)experience. Moreover fast enough to play some mid level games too(MALI 400MP GPU).nnDisplay is just great with a very bright IPS panel and WVGA resolution(PPI 240)(indoors you can turn down the brightness to less than 20%). Touch works fairly well as it should.nnComing on to the connectivity, WIFI, 3G, GPS(yes bonus!!not mentioned on the box) all work well.nnOverall the built quality is sturdy and yes the back cover was very sturdy and tight.(might give you a few nervous moments when you first remove it to insert the battery), just apply some force and you'll be fine :-)nnGreat value for money product and best bang for buck currently for people wanting a entry ~ mid-level specs device to experience the jelly bean flavor.nnCamera is 5mp auto-focus, with some tweaks to settings you can get decent outdoor(day light) images, Secondary is VGA and will do the job for video chatting and nothing more. Low light imaging is so so, but you cannot expect much at this price.nnBottom line is totally worth the money and the best 3G enabled phone available at around 5k. Go for it guys!!!

Dear all Users,nI am writing this review after using this product for 2 days & I m so much satisfied that I am buying another one for my cousin.nnThere r various things dat r nt mentioned in the box..but trust me guys, this phone is worth a buy.nnThe most strange thing I found that it supports almost all video formats at 720p also which is nt mentioned in the box...Yes it supports HD videos.n nIt has an excellent processor with a RAM of 512 mb. nnThe most important part of this handset is that out of 512Mb , It still has 300Mb free RAM available even after I installed so many apps. Skype runs as smooth as it runs on a PC. nnOther specification is perfectly working fine as mentioned in the box.nnThe only cons is that it has an average LED flash camera & video recording. nnI recommend everyone to go for it at 5k rather than spending 40k in handsets & then reselling the same at half the price, bearing a loss in thousands.
