I purchased Karbonn Titanium S2 phone on 12/03/2013 and not from Flipkart. This is the latest offering from the company. And!! man what are the specifications. I was completely blown out by the hardware & software specs. Actually, i intend to purchase micromax hd canvas 115 / 116. But, in the market i picked up Titanium S2 and why?. Here are the reasons. nn1. This phone boasts of 1.2GHz quad core Qualcomm Snap Dragon processor which is not only the latest in technology but also better than the 1.2GHz quad core processor in Micromax HD canvas which is in service for some time. This S2 phone plays latest games with much ease and does multitasking without any hiccups. nn2. This has 8m.p. camera in back and 2m.p. camera in front with ability to record/click pictures in HD. The clarity of the pictures are amazing. nn3. The touch control is superb and responses with no lag whatsoever. My friend said to me that the touch response is hard as compared to Samsung Galaxy phablet. When I compared it to samsung, i found that the touch response of Samsung Galaxy phablet is just a tad better as one may say. But for me, the touch response of S2 phone is amazing. Well, every individual has its liking or may be they are die-hard fan of their brand. Also,the difference in price of these handset is almost double. Huh!!! now what a joke that is! nn4. S2 phone runs on latest android platform i.e. 4.2.1 which is officially called "NEW FLAVOUR OF JELLY BEAN" and micromax hd canvas runs on 4.1.2 jelly bean. nn5. S2 phone does not heat up on the back side as the complaints have been made out on different forums regarding S1 and S5 phone. And if there is any heat on the back panel it is well within comfortable zone. Thus, it seems that the Boys who were clamouring on the issues would no longer have to worry about this.nn6. The battery of the S2 phone lasts more than One and a half day on normal usage of internet, game play, phone usage and etc. What you guys more want from it. It is well within the best league of higher ends mobile phones having similar specs. Therefore, no issues here. nn7. The S2 screen resolution is very good and amazes you. Also, in broad day light, the screen is readable. However, here the micromax hd canvas has HD screen and by going with the definition its screen resolution is better than S2. But the difference is not that much and again the price difference of 4000-5000/- comes into play. Also, HD canvas screen is not readable in broad daylight. Now, what good use is of HD screen. Here also S2 & HD canvas series win 1, lose 1 each.nn8. S2 has 512 mb RAM and not 1gb RAM as said earlier. Now one would question that why would a company who earlier put 1gb RAM in S1 and S5 phone would instead choose 512mb RAM on S2. Since 512mb RAM is insufficient for todays applications and would not work flawlessly or without hanging. But? if the phone works perfectly that is without hanging which is next to impossible, one would be satisfied with this. Hmmm!!! I have the phone with me all the time but never paid attention to this detail considering that this is latest offering from the company and considering its previous offerings in the titanium series. nnSo, it is official that S2 has got 512 mb RAM and not 1 gb RAM. S2 also got 04 gb internal memory of which only 02 gb is available free for the users and the rest has been taken up by the OS and other apps. The specifications are below par with micromax canvas hd a116 which has 1gb RAM and 4 gb internal memory. Karbonn has erred this time otherwise it would be giant killer in the market had S2 be plonked with 1gb RAM. This little piece of the puzzle has marred any chances of S2 taking over the market by storm.n n9. Now WCDMA technology. WCDMA has nothing to do with CDMA SIM card and will not run CDMA Sim cards. This technology implies GSM 3G and runs faster than normal 3G and has been in use in Japan and other european countries.n n NOW HERE IS THE CONCLUSION, if we were to give the 1gb RAM a miss then, Karbonn Titanium S2 beats Micromax HD Canvas A115/A116 hands down. No matter, how the others would react to this, the truth sets them free as Karbonn Titanium S2 is amazingly rich product with easy on the pocket. I give this product 10 out of 10.

Hai friends, nFirst of all, I would like to tell you that i purchased this smart phone october 07,and so I could only tell you my experiences of just four daysnnMerits I have Seennn1.Amazing built quality.In an unpacking video available in youtube, I found that there is a gap between the back case and the phone body.But I would like to inform you all is that it may be the problem of that particular mobile device.Because I cant see such gap in my phone.nn2.Display is very good.Amazing clarity.Good resolutionnn3.A flip cover is also available in the box which may worth rs .200 /-.nn4.As a dual sim phone, Sim management is very perfectly built.Because,We could choose which sim should be used for data connection, voice and video call , messaging, etc.We can also deactivate inserted sim cards.nn5.Memory auto clear support is provided in this phone.This could avoid unnecessary usage of RAM memory.nn6.Multi media play back is extremely good.Some video formats like wmv,some avi's,gvi,1080p mp4,mpeg cannot be played in h/w decoding mode.But I assure you that by installing the free app MXPlayer, You could be able to play any type of video files in s/w decoder mode.nn7.We may think Games and Apps may consume the 512 mb RAM and it may create a hang to the phone.. But In my experience, its not right..nn8.Gaming quality is very good because of the higher display quality.nn9.Music Player is also very useful and interactive. User interface and performance are awesome.nn10.Earphone clarity is so superb.FM Radio gives us the maximum clarity with less signal interruptionnn11.Applications can be installed in SD card also.SD card comes with the expandability upto 32 gb.nn12.Fille manager is very interactive.nn13.Since jelly bean(v4.2.1) is inside,Motion control and gesture control are very good.Auto rotation is also awesomely controlled.nn14.Picture zooming is also very good.WE could zoom into 1*1 pixel level :)nn15.Screen size is very big.So videos can be seen in huge screen.nn16.Interfaces for 3G,bluetooth and wi-fi are very good.Wi-fi connections are very impressive.nn17.Browsing is very good.In addition to installed browser,Opera and UC Browser are also preinstalled in it.nn18.The phone comes with 1.2GHz quad core Qualcomm Snap Dragon processor which is the best available processing technolgy in comparison with the similar porducts under price of 10k.nn19.I heard that Karbonn phones may have heating problems in relation to battery charging.But I didnt faced it yet.nn20.Out of 512 mb Ram,205 mb will be available for karbonn where as only 145 mb will be avalable for micromax'z doodle or fun.nnDemerits I have seennn1.Worst experince in battery backup.Under heavy usage, I will be able to have only 5 hours of battery power... :( Like that,It may take 3 hours to completely charge the battery(may because it is of 2100 mAH).Usually,Karbonn's phone have lot of battery backup but I wonder about why this phone laggs.So, only Persons who are able to charge the phone daily buy it(rating 2 out of 5).nn2.Dont expect much clarity in the photos taken by the camera.Because camera only behaves like a 5 mp camera and not 8mp.Front camera is very good for video communication.I am totally confused with why karbonn saying it is an 8 mega pixel camera.nn3.Sometimes the touch screen may behave unclearly,only some times.Dont bother about it.nn4.Some high def games shows slow responses(Like FIFA),But Iron man 3 can be easily played without any lagnn5.512 mb RAM is not a good choice for 1.2 GHz quadcore definitely.And some applications in google playstore may require minimum RAM of 1 GB.nn6.Since it is quad core processor,battery consumption may become highernnSome advicesnn#Dont remember to keep the phone in charge for atleast 8 hours after unboxingn#One sim is WCDMA and dont confuse it with CDMA.WCDMA actually means Wideband Code Division Multiple Access, which means it is 3g sim.3G service is available only in first sim(which is labelled as WCDMA) and not in second sim.n#Please use the flip cover inside it to provide more safety to the phone.n#Please keep the warranty card safely.Remember the phone accessories only get 6 months of warrantynnnnThats all.Thank you

Itz 512ram not 1 gb u guyz r correct phone hangs alot bought it today very bad buy s5 titanium instead.Yeah it gets hanged very easily without installing any apps phone is not able to cope up with quadcore and 5" display as well as jb4.2.. s5 titanium is the best more fluid and smooth and hangs very less...nnIt just has nice looks thats it..

Firstly, super fast delivery by flipkart. Got the phone the next day of the order.nnTo start of with, I bought this phone for my wife. I was considering Canvas Music, Canvas 2, Titanium S5. nI didn't want to buy a expensive Samsung phone. nReason : The smart market is changing at rocket speed. one year back I heard ppl saying S2 was the best, 6 month back S3 was mind blowing and now S4. So it is absolutely non sense to spend 20k-40k for a phone which would be outdated in 6 months.nnReason for Buying S2 : My wife wanted a cute looking phone and this was the best looking phone in budget price and she is not a heavy user so 512MB ram dint bother me too much. With Flipkart I can replace the phone in 30 days, so took risk with Karbonn. Just today I received my cellphone. It was available for 10790 which is not an expensive price but I had doubts with me whether this phone is worth spending that kind of money. Since we already know what mentality we carry towards our very own indian brands. Anyway let me tell you how I felt when I started doing hands on of it. It was seriously and still it is an awesome experience to use this handset. This time karbonn has proved itself that they are no less than micromax and they too cab comes up with a good range of products with inexpensive pricing. Multi tasking experience is mind blowing with this model and gaming is also damn good. For a price like this you get something more out of it. The only thing which i dont like in this handset is its camera and its flash(Useless)nRest apart is awesome.nnNote:-Guys titanium S2 doesnt have 1gb ram its 512mb with 4gb rom.nFlipkart has updated correct information maybe S5 has 1gb but it doesnt have that amount of ram.nnHands up to shipping company too just took 2days to reach me.
