I decided to buy a Lava Iris 503 as I was curious if the company could deliver on its promise of providing impressive specifications at a budget friendly price. The following is a review of the phone: Display:(5/5) The 5 inch qHD display on the phone is simply breath taking. The screen has a resolution of 940x540 pixels which is awesome and produces sharp images. The viewing angles on the phone are quite impressive as well. Hardware: (4/5) I am very impressed with the 1.2Ghz quad core processor and the 512 MB of RAM which is more than enough for the Android 4.2 Os that runs with the system. It has an internal ROM memory of 4 GB which has helped me store a lot of my e-books and music in the device and tanks to the memory card expansion slot and can put my 16 GB card and watch HD movies on the beautiful screen. Camera: (4/5) The phone has a 5 MP auto focus camera with a BSI sensor that takes exceptionally good pictures with 8X digital zoom. Video department isn’t too shabby either with 720p HD recording abilities. The phone also comes with a 1.3 MP front facing camera with is great for video chatting and for taking selfies if you are into that sort of thing. Verdict: (4/5) Lava promised to bring a large screen phone that was packed with features and it has delivered with aplomb. Hats off to lava for packing so much into such an affordable device and not charging a ton for it.
Its a decent phone for its price. I bought it for 7.8K which is not much for a phone this size. Freebies include a free flap cover in addition to the normal one.nnAlthough it doesnt deserve 5 because:n1) Pixel density of the screen is not so high. The image quality is definitely not as high as you find in a >10K phone.n2) Sluggish processor. Again, not as high as you'd get in a 10K phone but quite good if you are not into serious gaming.nnOther notes:nPhone size is slim but big. The body area around the screen is more than other phone which, in my opinion, is waste of space for user. Obviously, the more compact a phone gets, higher is its cost.nAlso, it has pretty low storage memory which is OK since it is always cheaper to buy SD card memory as opposed to inbuilt internal phone memory.
Pros:n1) Call quality is superb.(9/10) n2)Excellent display with nice color reproduction and the viewing angles are also great. The display doesn't gets negative at any angle, plus it is qhd.(10/10)n3)Fast processor and no lags. Subway surfers, temple run, etc. run pretty good.(9/10)n4)Android 4.2.2 which is latest among st its all competitors.(9/10)n5) Camera is also good but not excellent. HD videos are very nice with 30 fps which appear better than pictures. Front camera is 2MP and it also performs very well.(8.5/10)n6) Music quality is good and loud.(8/10)n7)3G calling facility.n(Proximity sensors are present but they are not visible.)nCons:n1)Camera flash is poor. It is very dim and useful only for macro photography. Other times its useless.n2)No auto brightness sensors but the 'Auto Brightness' feature is present in settings.
this is a good ) everythings
