There's everything good about the Yoga 2; from the speed and OS upgrade to the features (like 'hang') and it's superb display. It's surely VFM and Lenovo gets it right with the only tablet to offer such luxuries at this price!nThe only reasons I've chosen 4 (and not 5 stars) are:n1. The travel charger that comes with it is of low quality. I had sparks spring out at multiple sockets because the charger was just too loose. nn2. Even with a metal body, the back panel is ill-fitted at points which makes it creaky and sound cheap.nn3. It would have been great to see a few accessories sold with the tablet!
After almost a month of usage, if not for the lack of accessories, would have rated a 5.nnGood part:nThe tablet itself looks and functions reasonably well. Interface is snappy, however the Lenovo launcher is extremely basic and not useful enough.nPerformance is good as long as you keep freeing memory by closing unused apps.nBattery life is good but it's not close to 18 hours as claimed, I manage to squeeze out 12-13 hours mainly with browsing and videos.nThe stand modes are surprisingly useful and the camera quality is also acceptable.nnnBad Part:nThe charger as mentioned in other reviews, does not fit well into most sockets and sparks.nThe lack of reasonable accessories, especially the protective ones like screen guard and covers is very very very disappointing. nEven after almost 50 days of launch, no compatible accessories are available, either on Flipkart / Lenovo or with retail outlets.nWithout them, the tablet is hardly portable as you have to keep carrying it in it's box or a bag and always be extra careful with the screen.nnHope some accessories are made available very soon.nI have decided not to buy anymore Flipkart exclusives since it difficult to find accessories for them.
I bought this tablet from flipkart just a week back. Everything was awesome...I was very much impressed by style, colors, display everything...But with in just 3 days, screen started flickering. Then I read many blog and tried changes and still the flickering didn't stop. Finally did a factory reset and still didn't work. Then upgraded to latest build and still the same issue. It works for an hour and slowly starts flickering and will not go away. Even if you restart, it will be the same...graphics suddenly go away and everything looks almost in same and poor colors.nnVery bad experience. Finally gave to Lenovo service center and they are working on it from past 4 days.... Hope they at least come out with some solution. nnAfter spending this much money...I am totally unhappy....
I was looking for a tablet that would suit the following requirements:n1.Office workn2.Watching movies/videosn3.ReadingnnThe tablet is awesome. It has all what I want.nThe multi mode feature is amazingly helpful while using the tablet. You can hold it conveniently or choose to rest it on the stand or hang it.nnThe sound is amazing.Watching movies without earphones is a joy.nnBattery life is great. It is lasting for more than three days easily(the way I use it) with one full recharge.nnReading is a pleasure. You can hold it like a book.nAnd of course, people without a WiFi hotspot nearby needn't worry because there's data connectivity alternative available.nnExpandable memory (++)nnI love this tablet.I did a lot of research before picking this one.I'm happy I made the right choice.nI would suggest not to spend 40 k on an ipad because with 30k you get the best with lenovo yoga 2.
working on its own after some time....... key press and App launch happen intermittently by itself..... will come with full review after replecement.........
