I had used a new model of LG optimus (Android 2.3)for almost a years. problem was the cell was running out of battery too frequently due to too many applications, and was single sim. Then I bought Nokia C2-00 thinking that at least this basic cell from Nokia will give me peace of mind, and it was dual sim too. But the earphone volume was too low on this cell and nothing was audible if your TV is on or if you are on the road. Then I got this phone from micromax. nThough I didn't bought this mobile from flipkart, but I am happy to write a review about X234+. Here it goes:nnWhat's good:n1) Great looksn2) Loud and clear earpiece, louder, clearer speakerphonen3) Sound quality good. (better and louder than my earlier phone: Nokia C2-00)n4) Dedicated music keyn5) No games: Now kids stay away from my phone as there are no pre-installed games.n6) Lightweight and feels comfortable in hand and pocket.n7) You can use Nokia BL-5c batteryn8) Ultra-bright screen (Better than LG Optimus and Nokia C2-00, when used in sun/day-light).n9) Spacious and soft keysn10) Can be charged with USB.n11) Bluetooth transfer rate is better than my earlier phones.n12) Very fast uptime. it takes just 3 seconds after turning it on to make a call. Way faster than Nokia c2-00 and Any android phone.n13) In-built call record feature which sometimes becomes handy.n14) 5 alarms, calculator, led torch, calender, basic fm radio (works only with headphones)and a descent camera which takes OK pictures and videos.n15) Good battery life 2 days and still 30% battery remaining (1/3 battery bar left).n16) No internet connectivity: I am putting this in "whats good" category because in my personal experience, internet connectivity ( be it wap/gprs/3g) always drains the battery and i don't need that. besides, i have net on my laptop and android phone, why should i need internet on my cellphone too?n nnnnWhat's not good n(I am not saying what's bad, but whats not good)n1) No T9 dictionary to write massage. You have to type the entire massage.n2) No Notes taking tooln3) Calender can be used to just view date, no reminder can be saved.n4) To access memory card via bluetooth, one have to reboot the cell and then one can transfer the contents from memory card to PC and vice versa, which might take time, and as the cell is switched off during usb mode, one might miss incoming calls/sms during this period.n5)Vibration intensity is low. If you are walking and cell is on vibration mode, you might even not notice incoming call.n6) Can't change the theme and in-built sms alert tone, but can change wallpaper and ringtone.n7)Auto-keypad lock timing is less (5 seconds), and an't be changed.n8)Low sms memory (50 per sim, 15 phone memory)n9) Low address book memory (150 per sim, 100 phone memory)n10) Preliminary image/video viewer with no thumbnails preview.n11) I am having problem playing videos taken by my previous mobile (3gp format)but videos take by this mobile are stored as avi format which gives better quality.nnnnnMy opinion:nI needed a basic phone. I was tired of my android and Nokia c2-00 because more features you have, more engaged with your mobile you are. Now all i do is to talk, sms and sometimes listen to songs/fm. This is a basic phone with loud and clear sound. Photo/video/user interface/dictionary and other features are something which, once habituated, won't matter you later, but the sound quality I found in this phone is something that was missing in my earlier phone.nnnVerdictnThis is a basic phone: If you are not biased towards GAMES/INTERFACE/INTERNET CONNECTIVITY/SMS BACKUP and your primary concern is TO MAKE/RECEIVE CALLS AND SMS AND TO LISTEN SONGS, THIS IS THE PHONE FOR YOU. gO FOR IT.

This phone back-up is showing 4-5 hr talking backup and stand by is showing 200hour but i am using it... this is really working only near about 4-6 hour stand by and talking is max 1.5 hour.nnnso i want suggest you all don't purchase it.

THE COURIER SERVICE OF FLIPKART IS VERY FAST .I JUST GOT MY HANDSET IN JUST BEFORE TWO DAYS OF EXPECTED DATE. IF YOU WOULD HERE ,U SURELY MUCH HAPPY WITH THE PACKING QUALITY. ABOUT PHONE:IT IS A GOOD PHONE WITH HAVING GOOD BATTERY BACK UP,AND LITTLE LARGE SCREEN,DUAL SIM STAND BY FACILITY,CALL RECORDER,FM RECORDER.SOUND QUALITY IS POOR.IT SUPPORTS BOTH MP4 AND 3GP VIDEO. DISADVANTAGE:NO GPRS, 0 INTERNAL MEMORY FOR BOTH GALLERY AND SMS INBOX. AT LAST ,I WANT TO SAY IT IS A GOOD PHONE AT ITS PRICE.

Its a good basic phone viz a viz its features and price is concerned.it has vga camera, mp3 and bluetooth as well and all this in just Rs-1190 only.But it has its pros and cons like poor sound quality,only 100 contacts memory,less phone memory bcoz of which you can change wallpapers of your choice. it has no default wallpapers.if you are looking just for basic phone its a good buy.

I placed the order & received the product in just 1 day time....hatsoff to flipkart for this fast delivery...Product quality in audio & display brightness is totally awesome....Im happy to buy again with flipkart!!....If are u looking for normal with some features just go for this??....Totally nothing like Micromax....
