Bought the Micromax X78 from Flipkart. The Micromax X78 looks stylish being a smaller and cheaper version of the BB torch 9800. Looks and Sound quality are good. However, there are certain drawbacks like:nPoor battery life- needs charging everyday (without the internet and wi-fi being on).nPoor interface: Micromax could have come up with a better/attractive and user friendly interface. nHard touch pad- The touch screen is not very responsive. nFor a range of 5k the phone is OK.

I purchased this phone 2 months back & its very good ! Good battery back-up & the Emailz feature is almost similar to blackberry ! Even though Micromax has not tied up with any operators, we could put a monthly Internet pack & receiving e-mails would be really simple!nnThe Camera is really poor inspite of a flash !!But touch & user interface is amazing ! nnDefinitely worth a buy & I am sure you won't get a better phone for this price

It's better one if you want to buy a mobile with maximum features in 3000 nI bought on 22nd feb and it's amazing nPositives: touch, slide, wifi, java applicationsnNegatives: sound(with earphones only its good) ,no preloaded games, camera ( not even 1.3 mega pixel)

I bought this phone 2 days before from Flipkart .As usual flipkart service is excellent .nnI like this phone very much .The phone build quality is very good and it gives good feel in the hand .nnPros :nn1. Dual sim nn2. GPRS speed is very good .i am getting 250 kbps (download rate at 25 to 30 kb ) using Aircel GPRS nand able to share the internet to my pc using Micromax PC suite software in windows 7nn3 .Camera quality is just OK (can't expect more for this price ) nn4 .qwerty keyboard (comfortable to type )nn5 .Touch quality is good (this is resistive touch not capacitive touch )nn6 .Battery back up is good ..nn7 .it supports all java application .i am able to do Gtalk ,msn,yahoo chat ,facebook ,opera browsern (Search for Nokia c2-03 java application which will be suitable for this phone )nn8 .USB charge cable is very lengthy ,which is very good .nnCons :nn1 .trackpad would have been better .nn(go to settings ----> OFN and set the value 6 will give little bit speed for trackpad )nnnOverall i am satisfied with this phone and we are getting many good features at Rs-2199

Off-course price is less but it is unworthy. Very poor touch screen. Best suits for only accepting voice calls.
