amazing cdma handset

i have been using this handset for 1 yr. Now with Tata docomo CDMA, and one thing i must say, this handset gives the best battery backup i have ever experienced with cdma.. My normal daily usage is as follows: 30sms per day sent on an average 20sms per day recieved on an averag minimum 4 hrs daily phone call 30 min. Of fm play and the battery lasts for 1.5 to 2 days on an average.. This is truly amazing performance for a cdma phone. Moreover, this phone has great sound clarity with decent loudness. U can record ur favourite songs playing on fm radio and set as ringtone. U can recor around 10 min with its 2MB MEMORY U can sync the PIMS(msg, phnbuk, memo, calendar) with new pc studio via usb(cable not provided). Media files sync is not supported though. The torchlight is very handy in dark. The build quality is excellent and ideally suited to rugged usage. Keypad is dust resistant. I have used this phone as a throwball very often nd it was able to bear all the jerks and shocks of hitting the ground(of a lawn) and the hands of players playing the ball game. U can use it as a stone incase of emergency... Its not waterproof though.. When i brotght this, i felt it would have been a bit cheaper, neverthelesr, after an year, i can proudly say that it was worth the price i paid for it(INR 1900)

very good for people who want to talk more.

I am using this phone from more than 2 years. From when I got engaged. This phone's bettery is very good and works for very long time. And it is CDMA so it is not that much harmful like GSM. As i read recently CDMA phones are 28 times less harmful than GSM phones. Best for the people got engagement. the only problem is : for charging and headphone there is only one plug. Headphone is designed such a way that wire for headphone would be broken after some time. Bettery life and sound is very high(not talking about clearity). Clearity is better than normal. Enough for talking. You can go for it. But dont expect everything. If you are in need of the features it provides then it is very good.

Finest Handset from the Samsung stable

Probably a little late, but I have now had this handset for 15 months now, and it's a powerhorse. Mom uses it and it requires charging probably once or twice a week depending on usage. Battery life is excellent - you can easily get 12-15 hrs of talktime per charge, standby time would be close to 5-7 days. It was accidentally immersed in water as well, but just removed the battery, put it in the sun for 2 days flat, and worked like a charm. You can't get a better CDMA Handset than this. It's been permanently discontinued on Flipkart, but you may find it somewhere else and at a lower price. Simple, Easy to use, and a 5-star rated handset by me.
