Laptop look impressive,Outstanding looks i will update this later on after using this for few weeks EDIT: Ok!! After using this for like a week now i have noticed some great pros. PROS= Build quality A+, Screen A++, Feels awesome in hand,etc Battery is meh(gaming laptop you should not worry about that). Some people complaining about slow boot and game crash.. Well that's a issue with all only hdd laptops but you can fix it like i did.. First remove Norton(Windows defender is all you need just make it up-to-date), there is a service called superfetch you can disable it from services app(no issues on windows), FOR SLOW BOOTING ISSUE= GO to task manager and disabled all start up apps except malware service. Always monitor disk usage from task manager see what is the culprit slowing down.. UNDERSTAND THAT LAPTOP IS SLOWING ONLY BECAUSE OF HDD BEING AT 100% usages else no other issues.. Gaming is fun. Played GTA 5,WWE 2K15, NFS 12,WILD RECON AND DIRT 4..Working great a little too heat up in wild recon but remember Gpu core temperature goes upto 85°C(still normal) 90+is dangerous
Totally go for this if you're on a budget. The negative reviews here are all from people who don't know anything about tech. The slow wifi connection is because of windows update. You can disable it from Administrative tools> services, but I suggest you update the laptop. And another issue that I see people complaining about is the slow boot up time. This is a display driver issue and a windows 10 bug. Update the graphics drivers from GeForce experience and turn off Fast boot up from the power options, this option is known to be buggy and turning it on actually slows down the boot up time. I did all of this on my unit and updated windows and it boots up in 5-10 seconds and handles all the programs and games I use flawlessly. Battery life is OK, about 2-3 hours of normal use and 1hour of gaming but its a gaming laptop so you can't expect much. Hope this helps.
I bought it only for gaming only,game runs smoothly but sometimes it lags in games like watch dogs 2 and nfs payback while driving, battery backup is very good, display quality is also good, processor heats up while gaming,and graphics card also
Nice product but lot of bloat wares uninstall them when you buy it ASAP. Dolby sound system is awesome. I got this laptop for 48890. I like it very much. Happy to have it.
I have been using this Laptop for over a month now, and i have nothing but positives to say about it. I highly recommend this laptop to students as even if you have the budget for the predator Laptops to get this, as this is the most slimmest and the most inconspicuous gaming laptop on the market today, which you can easily take to class. My friends still think i use my old ultrabook. The 1050 card should not make much of a difference as you will not be able to differentiate between high-mid-low on a screen as small as 15". Best thing about it is that there is hardly any fan noise, even while playing heavy games. I haven't faced any overheating issues as yet. I have played Far Cry 5 and AC Origins from start to finish on this, the games ran beautifully, mostly due to the IPS screen on it, the colours really popped. Even though the IPS screen isn't of the top top quality, its not bad either. I have to say when i first got it, It was running really slow and I was considering getting a SSD. But after removing all the bloatwares and installing the Windows Updates, it responds to everything in the blink of an eye. Boots up quick and opens programs and applications instantly. So i can guarantee there is no need to get an SSD for this Laptop. I get 6.5 hours of battery backup from this while doing office work, 4 hours with video playback, One hour playing FC5. I have bought a lot of products from e-commerce sites over the years, some good some terrible, this is hands down my best purchase till date
