The seller is cheating by providing a November 2015 manufacturered product. This is nearly 2 years old laptop that they are trying to sell. Thanks to one of the buyer's review that I had checked before accepting the parcel and I rejected it. Flipkart this was not expected.Buyers beware
Hi All, Before I start about the review of the product. For the first time, I am not happy with FlipKart. I placed order for a black laptop but I have received maroon type of color laptop. I thought of returning it., but again., decided not to return it. Using it from one week. Here the review based on my first one week review: ==== Pros: ==== A laptop with i7 Processor, NVidia Graphics (2GB), 8GB RAM, 1TB Hard disk is definitely the best price in the market. We can increase the ram to 16 GB as well (As per acer website) Boot time is very less. The laptop with take around 12 to 15 sec., to get started which is really fast. Very sturdy look The texture type of outside panel looks different than a normal laptop. Looks good though. No heating issues., never got crashed or hanged. Battery backup got it for 5 hr 05 min for normal browsing + power point usage (with less brightness). 5 Hrs is really good for a 15.6 inch laptop. Nice mouse pad. Very user friendly. Precision touch pad. You can zoom-in, zoom-out image the way we do for image in mobile (using touch pad) Power cable length is very good.more than 2 mtr. Zero fan sound. Excellent in this way. ====== Cons ====== Power button is really in odd place. Power button is part of keyboard just like a normal keyboard button. Right side top corner keyboard. very odd. Lot of Acer bloatware software pre-installed. You cannot remove battery of laptop like other laptops. To remove battery we need to remove the back panel with screws. Again odd design. Looks little bit plasticky Bit heavy. Manufacturing date is 2015. Very old model. The laptop I received on 24th Mar 2017, the manufacturing date on it is showing as : Oct 2015 [which is quite old] Unable to register the product in acer website. When enter the serial number in acer website., it is showing as invalid serial number. The reason why I have provided 5 star rating is considering the pros at this price range. It deserves a negative rating. After 9 months of use, I'm editing my review. This laptop is really hell. Full Mother board was changed during servicing and now few keys not working. Battery backup is poor. For this range of laptop, we expect a better battery backup. We can't replace the battery so easily. Better to buy a DDR4 ram than a ddr3. Old model of laptop and color texture is average. Slightly heating even during documents readings or Internet surfing. Adding more to this, processing lags sometimes even if few application are open. Overall, not much satisfied.
