Can anyone who has bought this laptop confirm its specifications ?
I have this laptop for about 4 months now and i must say it is totally value for money. Though i did not purchase this laptop from flipkart or any other platform but it was bought to me by my brother from dubai and got it for around 78,000/- indian rupees. the only difference being that my model is 592G instead of 591G but i guess thats not much of a difference except only one- Tge 592G has drivers only for Windows 10 so if u want to install windows 8 or 7 its through pirated copies only. nFor example myself being a design engineer, i work through plant design softwares which was not supported for windows 10 so i installed windows 8 of 591G except the sound and trackpad drivers everything else works fine. for the trackpad and sound u need to restart your laptop again everytime u need your trackpad to work. so unless its not important do not downgrade to any other windows. n- Coming to performance it almost handles every game as smooth as butter. i have a 8gb ram along 8gb expandable and a nvidia geforce gtx 960m 4gb.n- Games like counter strike global offensive, fifa 17,pes 2017,gta v, cod mw3, bf4, rainbow six siege are installed on my laptop and at ultra to high settings every game runs smooth without any framedrop or lag. n- The only backdrop is its battery life. it last around 3 hours after fully charged and if playing games on battery 30-40 minutes is the maximum.
It was nice experience. I had never buy such big item before. I am happy with this PC. It has excellent display, but battery is not good.
I'll list the pros and cons below so you can decide for yourself if it is worth it. Pros: *Awesome display! 1080p is really beautiful on the matte screen. Works well in the sunlight as well as indoors and in the dark. *KILLER keyboard. I came from an older toshiba satellite, and I thought it had a good keyboard. Nope, this is what good is. The keys are perfectly spaced, backlit in red, no spacebar issues like I had read on other reviews. The keyboard is probably one of my favorite aspects about this computer. *Graphics card is very good. I can play Skyrim at ultra high quality with no lag whatsoever. I haven't tried mods yet, but I'm sure this computer could handle loads. * SSD is a huge upgrade for me. Instant application opening, instant powering on, instant load times on games. AS SSD Benchmark Sequential read speed at this moment is 465.5 MB/s, write is 419.72 MB/s. *Huge amount of space in the hard drive. I really don't know how I'll ever use near that much. *The case is beautiful. *Huge touchpad *3 USB ports *The speakers are really great. I could actually sit and watch a movie on this, or play any game clearly in a crowded room if needed. *Wi-Fi works, I have had no issues at all connecting or having slow speeds. *Super thin and lightweight *Earlier Windows software can be easily used on Windows 8 if needed. Cons: *There is a lot of flex in the screen directly in front of the keyboard. Very scary to grab anywhere on near the screen with any force. *The touchpad can be frustrating. It can't be used with games at all. Right click is near impossible sometimes. This is probably the worst thing about the computer to be honest. I am getting used to it, but really there isn't a way around this thing if you use it in your lap like I do. * No touchscreen. It would be better with one, but it's not really necessary. *Windows 8. This is probably just personal preference because it's totally usable, but I don't use the windows 8 homescreen in the least. I stay on desktop and that's it. *When I received the laptop, the top part of the screen was separated but clicked right together. No big deal. *I have noticed some scaling issues. Google Chrome does not scale whatsoever with the 1080p screen, so everything is very small on the screen. This is easily fixed by using Firefox, which scales perfectly. I'm not really tech-savvy enough to know why it does this (without googling...). Haven't had many more scaling issues other than with chrome. *All of the ports are on the right side. Someone may have an issue with this, but I don't. *The charger is a little difficult to plug in. Really the cons are super minor compared to how great the pros are (except the touchpad, which really is awful). This is the the best laptop at the price point that you can find. You really get a great deal with the top-notch components here. I had done a lot of research and this is where I ended up. If I find anything else worth commenting on I will update.
