The Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet is a gateway to Amazon's vast multimedia library. You can download large number of apps from the Amazon appstore, many of them for free, courtesy of the new Amazon Underground feature. Barring that, this tab has mostly average features that provides a mundane performance.

Design and Display

The Amazon Fire HD 10 32GB comes with a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display of HD resolution and has pixel density of 149ppi. The tablet is available in black, gray or white coloured body of slim design and weighs 462grams.

Configuration, OS and Amazon Content

The tablet runs Amazon's latest Android-based operating system, Fire OS 5 Bellini. The device is powered by two dual-core MediaTek processor with a clock speed of 1.5GHz and 1.2GHz. It is bundled with 1GB of RAM for multitasking and PowerVR G6200 GPU that handles graphic intensive operations. You can also instantly access  your favorite apps on Amazon appstore. In that a number of games, apps, as well as in-app purchases, are free for Amazon tablet owners.

Camera and Storage

For photography the device packs a 5MP main camera and a front facing HD camera for taking selfies. The tablet houses 32GB of internal memory to store your data, which can be further expanded upto 256GB via a microSD card.

Connectivity and Battery

Connectivity options present in this tablet include Wi-Fi 802.11, a/b/g/ac 5GHz, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, and microUSB 2.0. It also includes an accelerometer and gyroscope sensors. The device packs a li-ion battery that can keep this tablet running for around 8hours.
