Asus is known for its excellent gadgets, and the company manages this feat this time as well. Coming with a revolutionary design, excellent display, powerful processor and GPU, great cameras and excellent multimedia features, the Vivo Tab RT can almost be called the gadget lover's dream come true. Limited colour options may be an issue for some, but it is really minor when compared to stunning specs that this device offers. All in all, this device is truly a game changer.

Design and Display

Asus' new Vivo Tab RT comes with a revolutionary design that allows it to be used as a tablet by itself, and also a laptop by using the hinge connector to attach it to the Mobile Dock. The Mobile Dock comprises a standard keyboard and multi-touch touchpad. Both the tablet and the Mobile Dock are very light and highly portable.

The display is a 10.1 WXGA (1366 x 768 pixels resolution) Super IPS Plus LED display with Corning Fit glass. Asus also provides its TruVivid technology for further visual enhancement. All this translates into a stunning visual experience even at full HD resolution.

Processor and OS

Asus gives the very best available in processing – 1.3Ghz nVidia Tegra 3 T30 Quad-core processor. Coupled with 2GB of RAM, it promises fast processing, even under heavy stress. The chipset also contains a ULP GeForce GPU, which ensures high-end 3D games are run effortlessly. The Vivo Tab RT has been provided with Windows 8 RT OS.

Camera, Storage, Multimedia

The device comes with an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash for excellent photo capture. A 2MP front camera allows for video chatting and self-portrait capture. Storage comes at either 32GB or 64GB depending on the model, and an additional 32GB of Asus Webstorage (valid for 3 years) is also bundled in. Asus provides the device with SonicMaster Audio technology and Quad speakers for an excellent multimedia experience

Connectivity and Battery

Standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,NFC, microHDMI, microUSB connectivity have been provided. The device comes with a 25Wh Li-Po battery for the tablet and another 22 Wh Li-Po battery for the Mobile Dock.
