If you are looking for a small little laptop under the 25K mark, then this laptop must be in the final shortlisted ones, because this is the only one with 4th generation i3 4010U processor. I know all of you must be thinking why so cheap? is it worthy? let me tell you about this guy in brief. nnExterior: The complete laptop is made of plastic of acceptable quality. the white color looks beautiful and is not glossy so there is no fingerprints problem. but the textured plastic might attract dust so maintenance might be an issue. the laptop only wights a 1.24 Kg which is very comfortable to use on lap too.The palm rest place is quite large for the size of this laptop, almost comparable to mac book air 11(only in size). n It has all the notification lights on the right corner which is usually covered by your palm while typing, wish the lights were above the keyboard or on the key for caps lock and wireless key.n The quality is not as good as the popular F202 Touch model.nnnSpecs: The laptop is equipped with all those specs that a 28K-35K daily use laptops with a little twist.nn 1. Procesor intel 4010U 1.7 GHz Dual Core 4th generation core processors.. nothing to complain about this. The Graphics is the standard HD 4400. They perform much better than the processors usually found in this price range (intel PQC, intel CDC, AMD A4) it can outrun them in any activity.nn 2. Screen: 11.6" TFT 1366x768 resolution and its not a touch screen so if you try to touch it you will end up putting your finger print and smudges.. pretty standard nothing to complaint nor anything to boast. Avg brightness, avd contrast, average viewing angles..nn 3. Battery: again nothing to boast about the 3 cell battery, but usually the laptops in this price range have low consumption so the battery lasts 4-5 hrs, but this guy takes a lot of juice. the battery wont last more than 3.5 hrs. nn4. Memory: Storage memory is a toshiba 500 gb hard disk which is pretty standard these days. the RAM is 4 GB 1600 MHz now thats somthing to boast about. usually the laptops in 22-25K give 2 GB on CDC and a maximum of 4 GB on few PQC laptops but the frequency is 1333 or 1033 MHz. The RAM specification is a Major USP for this system.nn5. Ports and Connectivity: This little guy can put big systems too in shame. ASUS should be credited for their design to integrate all the ports required. It has 3 USB (1 of which is v3.0) a HDMI, a VGA (not found on many these days), Ethernet, and a card reader. and the usual set of blutooth and wifi.. all the ports and connections work like a charm. nnSound: Its speakers have been placed in a poor position (placed below on the wedge like shape), and also the speakers have a low sound output. The sound quality is good thoughnnHeat and insulation: This guy keeps cool all the time. The bottom gets a bit warm under heavy usage but nothing is transmitted to the palm area. Insulation has been good in this system.nnKey Board and Trackpad: There have been a lot of complaints on the trackpad quality, i would agree about that to an extent. The size is similar to that of Apple MBA 11 but no way near its performance, but hey even the apple is no way near this price... the gesture input freezes sometimes and can be annoying. scorling can also be very annoying at times. the trackpad is very inconsistent, sometimes it performs good. looks like ASUS should give an update for its drivers. n The keyboard has nothing to tell about. large flux found at F G H keys. the key travel is just ok, average feedback, you may have to double check when you are typing a lot.. they plastic quality of they key is also poor. The only good point is you get ample palm rest while typing. nnASUS: The packing is good you get a windows 8.1 drivers, which takes 15 mins to install. The after sale service of ASUS had mixed reviews in the past. So take care about that. The best part of ASUS products is they dont flaunt fancy offers and bloat the price. They have a clean marketing strategy.nnOverall: The system caters the audience it aims i.e the budget buyers who ask more for less price. you get all the specs of a laptop which is at least 5000 rs more than this but a little compromise in built quality... If you are looking for a portable laptop for daily usage, this is the best bet. There is no other Core i3 4th Gen Laptop in the market in this price range in such a small package. This little guy will work like a charm!!nnI have been using this for one month and I have no regrets.
I can only say it is great product. go for it,RAM Frequency 1600 MHz. The laptop is amazingly fast. Processor is i3 4th generation.
Product is very good and Delivery was done within 3days. Packaging was good. I would recommend this seller and this product. I got the Laptop with basic DOS installation. I used a Bootable USB image of Win7 and Installed the latest Drivers. ASUS website still has some old drivers. So try to get the latest drivers from OEM like Mediatek for WLAN.... Overall a good product... ..

Decent Battery Life, (if compared to i3 laptops, however u can get long backup 12inchers with slower processors)n4. Option of upgrading to SSD Hard-drive. Improves performance and battery life drastically.n5. Decent speakers, The sound quality is much better than expected. n6. 1280X768 on 12inch gives pixel packed display, much denser than regular 15inchers, viewing angles are not that great. nCons:n1. Extra sensitive touchpad, be prepared to carry an external mouse with u.n2. The Plastic body is not too tough.n3. Display viewing angles. nOverall a good value product, go for it if you intend to use office applications and light graphic design. Gamers stay away
I have bought from showroom, it was an amazing buy! nSexy look, good battery life, fast, Good speakers, HDMI, my lan is not working there might be some driver issues, i never tried to resolve this issue, nyou need to take care of it, its white ;) you will have to spend atleast 15 minutes in a week to clean! nThats all according to price this is a must buy product!
