bought it from a local store a week ago and m satisfied with the performance.. build quality : Good....not too good, looks are awesome, glossy finish on top and palmrest, a slim build.........the plastic used doesnt seems strong otherwise it looks damn good. performance : Excellent (for this price range). it runs super silent doesnt makes any noise at all.... the ice cool terchnology kkeps palmrest cool. display is vivid and clear , no backlight bleeding. here is the windows experiance index ratings i got: windows 7 ultimate x64 processor .... 6.3 ram............. 5.9 (i have increased ram to 4 gb from 2 gb) windows aero graphics...... 5.1 gaming graphics............... 5.9 hdd................................. 5.9 its realy fast and smooth. b980 is a damn good processor. the battery backup is about 4hrs. with battery saving mode,wifi on.
WORST PLASTIC WORST SCREEN WORST EXPERIENCE SOME WHAT GOOD PROCESSOR ASUS REALLY DID A HIT-WICKET LAUNCHING THIS PRODUCT.... DONT EVER THINK OF BUYING THIS PRODUCT.... I BOUGHT IT FROM A LOCAL STORE AND NOW I ASKED HIM FOR A EXCHANGE......HE IS GIVING ME JUST 8000 IN RETURN.......14000 LOSS.....I WISH I COULD THROUGH IT OUT OF MY BUILDING....
I just bought this laptop yesterday from a nearby asus store... outlook, speed and all other stuffs are simply awesome.... display is clean and HD... just two things i didnt like is 1.RAM is two gb, thats a lil slow if os is windows 7 64bit.. and 2.The driver included in it is only for windows 7 64bit.. somehow i faced problem installing the graphics driver.. but windows update automatically installed that driver lately.. the windows experienc index rates the notebook follows by:: Processor Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU B980 @ 2.40GHz 3.2 Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB 5.5 Graphics Intel(R) HD Graphics 4.3 Gaming graphics 772 MB Total available graphics memory 5.8
I wanted a laptop to suit my daily needs for browsing, watching movies, working on office documents etc. This laptop does that and a little bit more. I was pleasantly suprised with the packaging and design element of this laptop, as I had expected a plain black, no frills laptop at a price of 22k. But this laptop looks quite stylish and elegant with the sheen and compact look. It is quite lightweight as well, as compared to many of the Dells and Acers that I have carried around and worked with. They also included a cool laptop bag which wasnt mentioned anywhere else. The performance is quite good on Windows 7 and boots up pretty quickly. Pentium Dual Core is as good as i3 for everyday usage. Sound and video quality is quite good. So, I do recommend this laptop for anyone looking at good features for a minimal price.
An amazing lappy from ASUS... Pros :- B980 processor makes it good and faster... further 2gb RAM and 500 gb HD makes a better experince with it.. HDMI port helps me to connect with my sony bravia :) USB 3.0 is 10X faster than USB 2.0 It has ice cool thechnology which makes it pretty cool and hence gives a good performance.. I an using windows 8 in it...and it never hangs or nor did it gives any problem.. Graphics are too pretty good (by nvidia)..HD movies works fine and gaves amzaing experince.. instant on technonlogy in it gives me the way to resemue my lappy within 7 seconds :) chiklet keyboared is also pretty good :) amazing palm proof technology (prevents accidental input) dual BIOS is pretty good :) Dual core (2nd genrnation ) is also good for our daily use and gives a good performance.. battery backup is amazing guys..6 hours without wifi and 4 hours with wifi.. Cons :-(only one) sound performance is not pretty good..however i have joined sony woofers..which makes it better.. you can buy it...you will have a better experince with B980 processores :) further you will not get this configuration laptop from any company in this price range.. amazing thing from asus :) if you are thinking to buy it..go for it...i am sure you will lyk it..(itne rupee main is se accha nahi mil sakta..mast laptop hain) further windows ratings: processor-6.3 ram-5.5 graphics-4.4(after insalling nvdia drivers) gaming graphics-5.7 primary hard disk-5.9 i think asus is giving it for lower price ranger just to make it market...(tode din bad pakka rate badenge) go get it!!!
